Nearly creamed by a taxi driver this morning minutes after dropping my 4 year old off at daycare. Parked in a bike lane and decided to take a u-turn into me. In the middle of downtown. This is scary as fuck. I'm lucky. We need better infrastructure now.

They came for the bike lanes and sidewalks first, and we did nothing.

We are spending tens of millions of dollars to try to keep pedestrians away from a brand new downtown road.

I know there are bigger things going on but this goddamm ice pile is still blocking a bike lane greenway entrance and I feel like it's all related

A good reminder that multimodal transportation planners have NEVER been employed leading the visioning, planning, or design of the East Bank and its streets.

I cannot overstate how regressive this transportation planning is. We can do better.
