I disliked Ask Maps (AI) in Google Maps initially. But while traveling, I find it really useful. "Are there toilets?" "Is there an elevator?" Questions that would take a lot of searching thru reviews and photos are much easier with Ask Maps.

"While giving OpenAI free access to the code in GitHub’s public repositories was not illegal, it still felt like a violation of the user community’s trust. Much of that code had been shared in the spirit of fostering open-source software development, which was grounded in helping independent

I'm freaking hate using Amazon's website. Alexa for shopping AI keeps opening on the left side everytime. No way to turn it off. 90% of the AI tools Big tech is shoving into us are just useless.

Beef was THE Asian-American show to me with its Season 1. Season 2 is a lot less of that. But 5 episodes in, I'm loving S2. Great writing and storyline. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are amazing.

I actually like that this is happening. It's all insider trading. If you choose to participate despite knowing that, you deserve to lose your money.

A group of new accounts on the prediction market Polymarket made highly specific, well-timed bets on whether the U.S. and Iran would reach a ceasefire on April 7, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits for these new customers.

I though Avatar Fire and Ash was great especially in IMAX 3D. I did feel like the story is almost the same as Way of The Water. Nothing special. Probably won't earn as much as the 1st two movies so this could very well be the end of the franchise.

This is a beautiful film. Sights and sounds were amazing. 2.5 hours went by fast.

"Once in a while, you see a movie that doesn’t feel made, but extracted from a dreaming mind. It won’t go to you and hand over its meanings. You have to go to it." I reviewed The Secret Agent, my favorite film of 2025. Haunting, beautiful, profound. www.rogerebert.com/reviews/the-...

Trump is 30 points underwater. Dems swept the special elections. People know the GOP is responsible for the shutdown. So the Dem Senators pulled out their big guns... and shot themselves in the foot.

Android’s new security screening feature is bad and I fucking hate it. They wanted a mechanism for Google’s security team to block malicious developers. But the same mechanism can be used by the state to control what we can do with our devices.

As someone who measures swimming in meters and running in miles, using Strava is frustrating. If I use miles for running, Strava uses yards for swimming. If I switch swimming to meters, running will become meters/kms too.

Google has crippled cropping on the Photos app. You can't drag corners individually anymore. There's Auto Frame now that uses AI but it doesn't work. You also cannot edit an edited photo anymore, just the original. Photos is a wonderful app but Google is going destroy it so they push us more AI.

Pretty excited for this movie.

Venice loves Park Chan-wook’s ‘No Other Choice,’ with good reason. It’s a perfect example of how the director coaxes his audience into total identification with people doing insane things.
