Highly, highly recommend checking out this free demo. Paranormal Activity: Threshold was one of the games I came away from PAX East not being able to stop thinking about, but sadly it isn’t getting a full release anymore.

Honestly SO glad to see Brian and @dreadxp.bsky.social doing this! This was such a huge thing at PAX and you could see the passion there. Seeing it get out in a shared form is a nice streetlight on a dark road of crummy game publisher and dev stories we've been getting. 🤘

Paranormal Activity: Threshold was a standout experience from PAX East. It's tension and dread was the promise of a breakthrough horror from @darkstonedigital.com and @dreadxp.bsky.social. It was unfortunately cancelled. But as of today, you can experience it under a new name: Playable Archive.

DreadXP has outdone themselves with this gift at PAX. They're such a supportive and grounded company run by developers. Im not sure how many signed Paranromal Activity VHS tapes there are out there.

Maybe I should finally share actual game opinion on here to close PAX East out. Paranormal Activity: Threshold f’n rips, y’all. The tension, sound design, environments, and beyond all feel so authentic to the original film. @darkstonedigital.com understood the goddamn assignment.
