Constantly exhausted, even after producing sub-par work. Hoping the post makes it to someone.

Is anyone working on a class-action suit to give me my congressionally allocated tax money back? I feel like the executive branch just deciding not to send money where it was supposed to go is a of basic tenet an I should either refuse to pay federal taxes or I get them back.

Nye: We are here to tell our lawmakers that what's going on in our government is wrong. They must stop the abuses of this petulant president and his circle of sycophants. No thrones, no crowns, no king

Fuck Trump. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Trump threatens to shut down US government unless Democrats agree to ban all trans health care https://www.thepinknews.com/2025/09/29/trans-care-ban-government-shutdown/?utm_content=1759153201&utm_medium=social&utm_source=bluesky

Oh my god. THE BOAT IS ROCKED. We are dealing with full on fascism. There are military in our streets. Masked people are putting innocent people into unmarked cars. What do people need to see to understand that it is toxic to refuse to vote along the dem party line right now.

Just so I'm clear: TV host says we should kill every homeless person? No big deal TV host says the right must "go to war" with the left? Pfft. TV host says the government is cracking down on critics? Well, the government cracks down on him for the criticism. Free speech, everyone.

Being in DC right now, I’ll agree it is a propaganda exercise. The goal is to make you shrug it off. Great job being apathetic to a US Army’s occupation of an american city during a time of no discernible unrest. Cooper here has unwittingly created the propaganda. Top shelf gullible.

Boo!-per Lund@cooperlund.online

This really drives home that this isn’t a crackdown, or an occupation, it’s a propaganda exercise. Sure, it’s a terrifying one, but don’t let it get to you too hard - that’s exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Some of the unidentified federal "police" this evening. The ones who sped off in cars with New York plates.

It's become clear that this administration is just a protracted war on anybody who's read a book without pictures in it. It's a miracle we're all still getting up and going to work every morning. The psychological drain is the point, and I'm increasingly grateful to the people who are still decent.

Can someone explain to me how it is that a president may use executive power to eliminate an entire congressionally established department, but they cannot use those same powers to eliminate the student loan debt that is managed by that same department?

Every elected Republican should be asked if they think the president has the power to send in military in to “liberate” a state or city from its elected government.

This. Absolutely this. Footage of a Senator being wrestled to the ground is over shadowing the most chilling statement I have ever heard from any US government official.
