Okay, what is my goal in FFXIV before Evercold? I have raids to finish, some 24 mans, all the 8 person ones, plenty of stuff to unlock, and jobs to level...no use it trying to gear a class this close to Evercold. So I don't need to worry there.

Final Fantasy continued on without The Gooch. Should they never make Dragon Quest when AI bro Horii passes on? Baldur's Gate III was not made by Bioware. Hell, KOTOR II was not made by Bioware (and was a better, if incomplete game).

Going to guess all those Phantom Blade Zero reviews are from the PC version. It runs somewhere between "not great" and "I can't believe they were allowed to ship this" on a PS5 Pro, depending on if you're set to graphics or performance or raytracing on or off.

I'm reading every single one of the PB0 reviews and some things stick out to me, in general. Combat is obviously very cool, but story, traversal, and challenge seem to be pretty weak. Seems to be a common complaint. Why didn't they let you do the 66 Days mode from the start?

Regardless, this looks good. Every year is a banger year that we, realistically, don't have time to play through. GOTY feels like it's meaningless now. It's just not realistic to decide now.

Glad to see Final Fantasy Resonance doing so well. I just hope it doesn't lead to a Octopath situation where the first one does well and everything else after sells like absolute garbage. If HD-2D FF is regulated to reheated Exvius shit...

SE might find itself in a weird situation. With Resonance doing well, where does this leave OT and BD? They are all very similar, and two of these continue to sell less and less. BD is FF is all but name. OT3 would really have to change things up quite a bit.

I'm going to really dive in after a patch or two. Game needs some QOL options. Especially an option TO SKIP THE STUPID, SHITTY VISION CUTSCENES.
