I think I genuinely forgot to announce that I've been the Gaming Editor of the UK's biggest technology website for more than seven months now. You can find my contact email for article pitches or press releases on my author page, or reach out via DMs to chat!

today we play a fun game called "will airport security get weird about me carrying four separate phones"

Finally caved and got the limited edition Oshi No Ko themed Seiko watch. Incredibly garish but also very cute!

just asked a waiter if they take Diner's Club and they said, and I quote, "what the f*** is that, are you making that up"

$72.90 of Old Spice currently in Amazon basket. Please let me know if you have any recommendations

I'm in LA for the third time this year next week. On a scale of 1-10 how insane would it be to order a vast number of Old Spice sticks to pick up from an Amazon locker a few miles from my hotel??? They have so many exclusive flavours...

Played about five hours of Modern Warfare 4 DMZ and it's a pretty excellent, streamlined take on the extraction shooter so far. It would be good as a standalone game, but feels like downright ridiculous value when bundled with the best campaign in a decade and tightly designed multiplayer.

On the previous trips I picked up Swagger and Fiji and Procter and Gamble kindly sent me a gift hamper with a load of other US scents last year, but otherwise there are just so many I have not sniffed.

Forget "what's your favourite colour" and get ready for "what's your favourite video game adaptation of Bernard Werber's 1991 novel Empire of the Ants because there are two for some reason"

Modern Warfare 4 defies all convention by having the first Call of Duty campaign in like five years that doesn't involve an evil red gas

was getting serious evil red gas vibes when you play as Price transporting a mysterious super powerful new weapon but this is simply a red (gas) herring and it's actually something else

Amazon has randomly started offering under 30 minute delivery to my house. It's mainly available on food, but I can also apparently get a copy of Marvel's Wolverine in 27 minutes which sounds more like a threat than anything else

It's been a while since I last appeared in a magazine, so obviously I jumped on the opportunity to review Halloween: The Game for SFX! On shelves now at the finest newsagents and supermarkets near you.

downright catastrophic look from the waitress when I ordered two strawberry mimosas while visibly fucked

out for a cheeky pizza express solo meal

Silent Hill Townfall's stealth system getting obliterated in a post-launch update is a great example of how some games are totally wrecked a few weeks after they come out because the general audience literally cannot handle any level of friction

Here's a fun little exclusive interview with the CEO of high-end watchmaker Hamilton about the brand's upcoming Modern Warfare 4 collaboration and how its Hollywood history shapes its approach to the gaming world.

Big news, gents: the Heinz website is currently offering a free 400ml Light Mayo when you spend £20

This is an awful looking skin, but the completely unnecessary tactical tummy window did get a laugh

the M40 is awesome because you get to go 70mph in a deserted left lane until you come up behind someone going 55mph in the middle of the completely empty road for no discernable reason, slown down to cross two entire lanes to overtake them and return to the left (this happens every 10-15 minutes)

me seeing a guy sitting in the row in front of me start trying to smoke in the middle of my already massively delayed flight

British supermarkets are operating on a level of lunch time innovation simply impossible to achieve in any other nation

they literally already made the movie these people want to see btw (obviously it's awful)

"fan" reactions to the new Resident Evil movie suggest a lot of people's engagement with the franchise is purely aesthetic and boils down to clapping when things they recognise are on screen - which I guess explains why the truly dire second half of Requiem was so well received

Still sad this album has been completely nuked from every streaming service because it has BY FAR the best cover of the Cutie Honey theme
