Last week @aaronfrancis.com made his first trip ever out to @laravellive.dk and he's telling @ianlandsman.com all about it - from the amazing food truck situation to how passionate everybody was about Laravel & the community and more. You truly do love to see it ❤️

How did @aaronfrancis.com feel about trying caviar for the first time last week in Copenhagen? This week on MT he tells @ianlandsman.com all about it, and friends, needless to say he wasn't a fan.

This week @ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com discuss Aaron's trip to Copenhagen for @laravellive.dk, meeting DHH, having "the hell trip home", using AI to beat Air Canada's bureaucracy, & so much more. Watch the full episode on YouTube youtu.be/MfkG-syVVgk or listen everywhere you get podcasts.

This week @ianlandsman.com is joined by @jessehanley.bsky.social, founder of Bento, to discuss everything from Grok Bot to finding your ideal customer to the future of knowledge work and so much more.

This week @ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com are back after Laracon US to talk about....Aaron's new job as VP of Marketing & Community at @laravel.com? Plus a recap of LaraProm, something called "shower wine", and more.

Carnival rides? Bounce houses? Anything that's not a permanent ride? Absolutely not. This week @ianlandsman.com & @aaronfrancis.com talk about why these rides are no good and Aaron reminisces about a very unfortunate incident involving Big Tex at the Texas State Fair 🫠

Will we all still be reading and writing every line of code in 10 years? 3 years? 6 months? @ianlandsman.com & @aaronfrancis.com talk through this dilemma and wonder if we're still better at writing code, does that matter - are the machines good enough?

This week on MT @aaronfrancis.com's got a new theory he's trying out on @ianlandsman.com: In the AI era, languages don't matter as much - but frameworks & ecosystems, especially batteries-included frameworks like @laravel.com, increasingly do 🔥

To find a new business opportunity, ask: "Where are people/businesses spending money right now?" and "Where are people/businesses looking to spend money right now?"

This week @ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com discuss Ian's misadventures with poker, a huge update for Solo (Windows!), why Aaron thinks languages don't matter but frameworks & ecosystems do 🌶️, and so much more.

Does using AI mean you shouldn't care about your code anymore? No. This week @aaronfrancis.com talks to @coulb.com & @johnrudolphdrexler.com about his Live UK talk and why you should let go of writing code, but never stop caring about the code.

This week on MT, @aaronfrancis.com and the Thunk boys talk about understanding your code at a deeper level and code smells and….then it goes off the rails. But have no fear - Aaron rescues it with a flawless transition to an ad read. No notes.

This week @ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com discuss Aaron's new employee, the latest on Outro, a surprise trip to Portland, and more.

This week @aaronfrancis.com is joined by Jesse Hanley of Bento to talk about building a seven figure business, why he feels less stress now than he did when he started, migrating from Heroku to Planetscale, and more.

Getting hired isn't a game of chance, it's a game of skill. This week @ianlandsman.com's mad because he's read so many garbage resumes - and @aaronfrancis.com thinks he knows why. If you think getting a job is a game of chance, you're doing it wrong.

Right in the middle of a harrowing (and incredible) story, @aaronfrancis.com does what any seasoned podcaster would do. He transitions to an ad read.

@ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com discuss the most harrowing experience of Aaron's life (complete with the funniest ad transition in Mostly Technical history), talk about Ian's trip to the Laravel Roadshow in NYC, and dive into what's cooking with Solo.

This week @aaronfrancis.com tells @ianlandsman.com that he's on a mission to destroy two competitors: Warp and Conductor.

This year at Laracon US we're hosting...LaraProm?! In a gymnasium!?! @ianlandsman.com's so excited about this idea that he interrupted @aaronfrancis.com's vacation to talk about it.

This Friday at 11:30am Eastern I'll be live with @mattstauffer.com, @ianlandsman.com, and UConn's Joel Salisbury to talk all about finding your first job in tech - how to use (and not use) AI in your job search, how to stand out in a crowded job market, & more! www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-mX...

I was graciously invited by @mattstauffer.com to join this week's episode of The Laravel Podcast ❤️ We talked about partnerships, community, my obsession with UConn sports (very important), and a lot more. laravelpodcast.com/episodes/the...

This week @ianlandsman.com thinks Claude is doing the right thing with OpenClaw - and you know what? @aaronfrancis.com agrees! "...this is a business....this is not a public utility....they don't owe you access to their service!"

This week @ianlandsman.com & @aaronfrancis.com talk about setting a release date (!) for Outro, huge updates to Solo, a new Cloudflare course, exciting news on the real estate front, and so much more.

. @aaronfrancis.com wonders how are people using 8 agents in a code base? How can you tell the app works? Where’s all this software that’s being built - why aren’t these people shipping! This week on MT, @ianlandsman.com knows why - it’s fake and made up for attention!

This week @ianlandsman.com and @aaronfrancis.com discuss their trip to Laracon EU, the all-new Solo, using the AI SDK for Outro, "poker propaganda", Gen Z Abby's 2004 camera, and so much more.

Thanks to everybody who stopped by the @laravel.com booth at Laracon EU, all of our partners and sponsors, and all of my amazing teammates who spent the last four days with me in Amsterdam 🇳🇱❤️

This week on MT, @ianlandsman.com thinks he needs help from @calebporzio.bsky.social with a new Livewire feature but @aaronfrancis.com reminds him to just tell the machine to do it - that’s what the robots are for!
