Off of @therealkateesackhoff’s recent post extolling the virtues of this badass… I had a blast performing Twelfth Night opposite Samantha Sloyan, and have watched her rise through Mike Flanagan’s works - consistently giving amazing performances for us all to enjoy.

I email her after every new show telling her how absolutely phenomenal she is. Can’t help it. She must be so tired of hearing it from me. 🤣 Even knowing how good she is, she always astounds by getting even better. Every time. Wild. ❤️

Trolls have gotten so lazy. Attacking experts with credentials IN their bio, pulling easily disproven facts out their bootyholes, & my new favorite: backhand criticizing me for “using GLP-1s.” (I celebrate anyone getting healthier however they medically need) but… I lost that weight 15+ years ago.

What’s wild about IMDb is that it’s mostly accurate (for TV, Film & VO work). But only for what’s announced officially. + also often incomplete until release. For instance, I’ve done 2 films this year…

. It lists one, but is missing costars. And the other hasn’t even been announced yet! Let alone a huge VO I did months ago. So check often. But know it’s not everything. 🫶 (& doesn’t list theatre!)

How misinformed & lazy are humans? Every few years someone on Reddit, FB or some old site posts this shot from the Stargate SG1 pilot asking if it’s the same actor who played Eli (me.) (thread)

I’m begging people to use resources at their disposal - IMDb, google (this was 1st on Reddit a decade+ ago), hell - your own brain cells. Putting aside that I was a KID then, no, this is just an overweight white guy. (One more)

Between seasons 1 and 2 of Stargate Universe, I wrote a 2-part episode of the show, just to see if I could. I read it for the first time in ages yesterday. You know what? #SaveStargate

Sure, I’ve grown QUITE a bit as a writer, come close to selling multiple projects, am currently developing this massive film… and I gotta say, it was better than I expected. 🤷

At the tail-end of a Convention, chatting with my friends, I had an idea. A heartfelt, hilarious adventure, starring all of us. I developed the idea on the flight home - and then called them all. Every single one loved the idea, and expressed interest in being in the film…

Oh, shit. That’s about all I can muster. Oh, shit. I only met the man once, at a Dodger game — but I was a lifelong Dawson’s Creek fan. And everyone who ever worked with him always had such kind words. I was really rooting for his battle. Cancer is an asshole. ❤️ to his family. (video below)
