Starting this November, I'll have 4 books coming out with Boldwood Books! 'A Healer's Guide to Adventuring' is a book I'm incredibly proud of. It's a fantasy adventure story with kindness and growth at its centre - therapy meets D&D. Much thanks to my super agent Laura Bennett :)

My favourite thing about the original run of Halloween films - and trust me I've thought about this a lot - is how progressively unhinged Loomis becomes. Until #6. Where he's super chill, living in a cabin somewhere and listening to shitty talk radio. Loomis: The Lost Years. Make it you cowards!

This made me tear up a bit. From an early review of A Healer's Guide to Adventuring. Thank you to who wrote it and I'm so happy to have earned your trust :)

Guardbridge will be publishing an anthology next spring, "Things That Eat Good Intentions". Many of the writers, editors, and artists involved were at Fanatsycon in Glasgow this weekend. Many of us met up on Saturday night for a toast to the new project.

Went for a walk with my son yesterday and I've never been prouder of him. On seeing a big leaf on the ground, he stopped beside it and said, "Not easily do the leaves of Lorien fall." What a guy.

Please don't harass individual members of the SoA management committee over the AI decisions--there is an address for sending opinions, use that (And for Heaven's sake don't email committee members on their personal email addresses)

Been catching up after Fantasycon, so not had the chance to say it on here yet: thank you for elected me as the new Chair of The British Fantasy Society. It means a lot. Here's a few words on that but more words on a brilliant Fantasycon 2026. Oh, and our stance on the use of AI hasn't changed ⛔️

David's courses were so fun and informative, and I met such excellent authors through them. Please check it out if something like this rocks your boat! 💙📚
