I have to say, if you would choose who to vote for based on Niki Minaj... that's a choice. Not a good one. She won't be voting (can't) Most of her family either. Can't... I wonder how much they paid her, because it's hard to believe she even cares.

Watched an older movie we missed called Stuber" with Dave Bautista and Kumail Ali Nanjiani and it was hilarious. Silly, and stupid, but hilarious and fun. Read one of the best sci-fi stories I've read in years... report in the future. Submitted a story to an anthology.

Are we really to the point of nitpicking a speech because the Cheesecake Factory was mentioned? Okay desserts, food takes FOREVER to arrive. About normal chain quality...but none of that is even relevant to the speech. The interiors are garish, gilt - exactly what is happening to the White House.

Things I have inadvertently stockpiled. Musical Instruments Cats fossils books children (but we cleared them out) cat toys that cats won't play with Computer accessories (some of which are too old to use)

This week ended with me spending ... a lot of hours... fixing a thing that was my fault. I wish I had concentrated more. Regardless of how you (I) feel about the job that is paid for, it deserves 100% concentration and I failed in that. It's not a good week and likely to be a nt wonderful Monday.

I revised a story for an anthology submission tonight and have just pushed the novel in progress past 53K words.

It's not even remotely questionable at this point. The president of the United States is an imbecile. He has no dignity, no compassion, and no skill that qualifies him for the job. He is surrounded by people sucking your money, health, and lives away desperately clinging to him and it's pathetic.

The party with Dr. Oz attacking muslims. The party with immigrant wives, illegal immigrant wives, filled with pedophiles and drunks, fueled by millionaires, thinks they will change their fate by bringing up Hunter BIden's laptop again, making up stories and blaming others. Vote them to obvlivion.

One of my cats just ate part of a cashew and acted like he was starving. Note: He should not have eaten the cashew, and we JUST FED THEM.

This entire day (and night) have been a complete fustercluck. No details, but still doing day job work and it's twenty minutes to midnight. A mistake I made was not good. The root cause was worse, but my mistake will be all that is reacted to. Want to write... maybe.

I also used to be proud of how medical science was curing things (while at the same time disgusted by the greed holding back those cures) but now we still have what disgusted me and we have a guy in charge who had brainworms, was addicted to heroin and thinks chem trails are real.

I wrote a novella this year that will come out eventually. I saw today that Anthropic warned that self-replicating AI's could proliferate. Here's the thing. I wrote this last year. They call it "A Swarm" - the alternate title of my novella Non-0 was... SWARM. #heardherefirst.

While I am begging everyone to CHECK YOUR BALLOT and be sure you didn't make an error, or that nothing has changed, I'm finding this more disruptive than helpful. It's also playing right into GOP hands if everyone starts claiming machines are faulty. Not saying it's not true, just saying be careful.
