Spirit of Radio ! Songs of nature today from Bonfire Hill @rebeccasubphotic.bsky.social @campradio.bsky.social

This is the type of video UK Labour should’ve put out on their first day in July 2024. Instead they did the opposite & told the xenophobes, racists & haters they had a point or as the vernacular goes had ‘legitimate concerns’. Starmer wasted 2 years on appeasement what is Burnham doing differently?

….and they killed them…. Not quite sure how that’s a success story ! First bluefin tunas caught off Yorkshire since 1960s ‘success story’ for marine conservation www.theguardian.com/environment/...

It’s Radio Sunshine today - coming to you from Bonfire Hill ! @rebeccasubphotic.bsky.social

Spirit of radio ! The rituals of spring ! Enjoy !

Help ! Is there anywhere in the world where I can avoid people gushing on about the new Bored of Canada album….? I’m not asking for a friend, I’m asking for myself cos I think they’re MASSIVELY overrated….they just don’t move me in the way they seem to make other people go weak at the knees….sorry.

I started The Last Battle again yesterday…..halfway through Chapter 1 the ape, Shift, pretty much says “make Narnia great again…” By the end of chapter 2, I had to give up…. started The Silver Chair again instead….

Turn on ! Tune in ! Chill out ! It’s that time of the month again….more delicious radio from Bonfire Hill - this month featuring @bonfirehill.bsky.social @rebeccasubphotic.bsky.social @lanadelreyadd.bsky.social Plus loads more !

Dance and sing as the sun goes down… bonfirehill.bandcamp.com/album/songs-...

The world is stuck. The world is echoing through its own time. The world is tired and old and wants to sleep. Time to sing the world to sleep. Time to sing the stars to sleep. This is the shadow time. This is Dusking bonfirehill.bandcamp.com/album/songs-...

Next up as part of this morning's head down, working music. A lovely little conceit from @davidowen.bsky.social Three small (2m30s) but beautifully formed slices of chilled ambience He's inspired me to have a crack at something like this. #NowPlaying bandofcloud1.bandcamp.com/album/starfi...

Essential viewing.

Fantastic piece about Chill Out….

Come and join me in Whitby. Some absolute legends playing (and me) www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/switched-o...

Errrr…. Yes, it does ! FFS…..

As much as like their music, Massive Attack must be f**king idiots if they’ve only just realised how bad Spotify are ! Why was their music on there in the first place if they claim to be so politically engaged and aware ?

@richardlittler.bsky.social are these official ? For sale on Instagram……

3 small but mighty ambient excursions…… bandofcloud1.bandcamp.com/album/starfi...

What if everything was distilled down? Concentrated ambience. I’m bored of long-form - all the meandering, pointless, aimless nonsense….knob twiddling & patching wires. It’s ‘the Emperors New Modular unit’. So I’ve compacted the ambient tracks to just 2.30secs. Micro-dosing x 3 - Bandcamp 17/09/25

Radio On ! Tune in ! Bliss out ! @campradio.bsky.social @bonfirehill.bsky.social @rebeccasubphotic.bsky.social @davidsylvian.bsky.social

Digging around a bit and found some of my old promo for Storm Chorus…. youtu.be/Z0WagVrnIt0?...

As some of you may, or may not know, I used to be an “indie pop star” in a previous life ! You can read all about my Stone Roses adventure here : www.gigslutz.co.uk/interview-da...

Bandcamp Friday ! It’s on blood red vinyl ! stormchorus1.bandcamp.com/merch

Bandcamp Friday ! You’ve just been paid….you’ll need a long sleeved t-shirt when the autumn weather kicks in - what could be finer than this Bonfire Hill item ?! bonfirehill.bandcamp.com/merch/bonfir...

According to @mojomagazine.bsky.social I’m a “folk agitator” ! If you want to know what all the fuss is about….buy the album….finally available on blood red vinyl ! stormchorus1.bandcamp.com/merch

Finally released on blood red vinyl - an album described by Mojo magazine as “Shirley Collins meets Nick Cave” ! Out now ! stormchorus1.bandcamp.com/merch

Ooh ! A bit of fab electronica on vinyl from @rebeccasubphotic.bsky.social

fundamentally the problem is that if you think "hotels are where I stay on holiday and I like being on holiday so living in a hotel must be fun and it's not fair others get to do it and not me" then you have the intellectual reasoning of a little child and it's going to be hard to engage with you

It’s music time !
