I thought it'd be way more difficult to restore the sounds on my modded DSi's launcher but it's surprisingly easy my DSi was modded with quite an old version of Unlaunch. like, shortly after memory pit was a thing

I was suiting up to attempt an entire NAND re-flash and thank god I didn't (the instructions are a little confusing for me). I think my backup's untouched & clean so it would've probably been fine? if I don't have to though I won't. did end up running across this though.

I dunno maybe I'll get a 2 one day in several years close to discontinuation but I got real life bills and repairs of older stuff to handle

I've been spiralling a bit worrying whether I've just been a terrible person or not and I don't know how to handle it. It's pretty distressing.

I feel like I have grown over the years (I hate remembering how I was as a teenager for instance. eugh. I'm so sorry to anyone who knew me then) but I still can't help but worry about whether I'm doing something wrong still and not realizing it.

Been playing my DSi again a lot lately (namely Picross DS and Cave Story) Cave Story's a lot more rough than I remember but tbf I think my last playthrough was on Easy when I was like, 11 or 12 (on Normal this run). Still love though.

Picross DS is also very fun. I am at a point in the intermediate puzzles where my mind goes numb again, though. Def more forgiving than Mario's Picross. I should restart a playthrough of that game but ended up fucking up my saves and perfectionist me haaaates that.

it's weird if you would've asked me years ago during pandemic times I would've been perfectly fine. in a sense I still do kind of feel that, if another were to break out, I'd be just fine. but man some days it really really eats at me and it's hard to find anything to remedy that

Woke up from a chill down my spine and then started hearing this very specific dial tone sound in my brain

After digging I believe it was the same dial tone sound from the end of Another Brick in the Wall. Though I'm haunted by this one weird false memory; I swear I've heard that specific sound at the end of other songs I had downloaded mp3s of as a kid?
