Born in the ’80s, forged in the fire of VHS and attitude, Die Hard is gospel, and yes, it’s a Christmas movie 🎄. Still dreaming of Scotland unshackled, where tartan isn’t just tradition, it’s a revolution wrapped in swagger🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

She's clearly dumber than a box of rocks.

jamelle@jamellebouie.net

one thing that comes across in these clips is that bondi is totally out of her depth. just an absolute lightweight. barely sentient.

This women's #RoyalRumble has to be the worst ever. Nothing but spots, botches, buffoonery and why the f**k does everyone have full entrances...🤦

We are shite, the worst team ever. How JT can remain the manager and given another window is beyond belief. The team has no idea what they're doing and that's down to the manager, nobody else.

Scotland needs to leave the UK immediately, apply the day after to rejoin the EU, completely reform the financial sector and the corporate rule book on issues such as takeovers etc.. If we don't do this England will totally destroy Scotland's economy. I've had enough.. have you?

Still voting Labour and calling yourself left-wing? You’re either ignorant or spineless. The party sold out to capital, warmongers, and the same parasites as the Tories. You’re not a progressive — you’re a prop. Own your slide right or get out of the way. Change won’t come from cowards.

Neil Mackay@neilmackay.bsky.social

If you would still vote Labour today then you have to redefine your political position as rightwing. You cannot support this party and dare call yourself someone on the left. Such a claim is laughable. Have the courage and intelligence to own what you believe in

A spate of arrests today - under the statue of Gandhi - of people holding up placards. A priest in her 80s, academics, medical professionals… Hard to believe the UK Government is led by a man who once worked as a human rights barrister. #Palestine

Remember, their whole mantra was 'change'. But this? This is exactly what the Tories would do.

Owen Jones@owenjones.bsky.social

This 83-year-old priest has just been arrested for holding a sign which read: “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.” According to Starmer’s new law, this puts her in the same category as an ISIS or Al-Qaeda terrorist, with a prison sentence of up to 14 years.

Brexit has cost the UK £140bn - £2000 per person - and sent prices skyrocketing. Farage is the cause of the cost of living crisis, not the solution. Will he apologise to Scots for the damage he’s caused tomorrow - or will he keep avoiding the obvious? www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottis...

Labour are planning to nationalise British Steel - to save the Scunthorpe plant from closing down. Why didn't Labour do the same when Scotland's last oil refinery announced it was closing down? Scottish jobs are an afterthought for Labour.

Trump- I can't drive,I can't play golf (though I’ll cheat like hell trying).I can run businesses straight into the ground. My presidency? A masterclass in how not to do democracy. And as for my fake tan? Let’s just say if Oompa Loompas had a lawsuit pending, I’d settle.

Spot on with this, far too many times, we've looked at others for scapegoats. Our defenders are shite, end of. The whole backline needs replaced and it should start by spending money in January.

Ari@ari70.bsky.social

Blame brother Beaton all you want but he's nae the one that couldnae do the simple basics of defending at a throw in.

Yet again we've got a Scottish budget full of measures designed to mitigate Westminster policies. Instead of constantly having to protect Scots from Westminster decisions we should aim for a Scotland that protects itself forever from Westminster decisions by removing itself from Westminster rule.

Everyone in Scotland should watch this but in addition to economic loss people need to understand there was also an enormous industrial loss as Scotland never was able to develop a sector critical manufacturing supply chain & is again failing to do so in the new renewables era.

Scotland’s energy double whammy: - Scotland pays highest transmission charges in Europe to export our electricity to the south of England. - Scotland pays highest electricity bills in UK to use our own electricity. What’s the point of the Union if it doesn’t benefit Scotland? youtu.be/GZs4taICTso

@scotlandnational.bsky.social lead in Poland at half-time! Tonight's game isn't on any TV channel - it's only live on YouTube. This may be an improvement from hiding it behind a costly paywall, but it'll leave it inaccessible to many. It's no substitute for live free-to-air TV. #POLSCO 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Good morning Bluesky Let us tell you about Scotland. We produce oil but soon to have no refinery. We produce electricity but make no money from it. We have ports but cannot trade from them. That's only the half of it. Wait till we tell you about the nuclear weapons in populated areas!

Serious question regarding this #AssistedDyingBill if you have to self administer the lethal dose. What happens to individuals who are either physically compromised, so unable to self administer, but wholly coherent with full mental capacity, do they just have to suffer?
