Today's Jeopardy question: Because Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, estimated at more than five times that of the United States. Today's Jeopardy answer: Why are we starting a war with Venezuela, starting with blowing up boats, followed by a huge naval and Marine build-up?

I'm starting to think we should elect people based on their internet history. Here's a hint - the more anti-X they are, the more their porn viewing is of X. If X is LQBTQ+, the internet history is chock-full of gay porn. And if it's child porn, well, let's not even talk about it.

If you think of Trump, not as President, not as reality TV star, not real estate magnate, but as the person he is, a person with an IQ in the low 80s who was born to unimaginable wealth and never told he was wrong, everything he does or says falls into place.

He has obvious thoughts that don't consider nuance. He has simplistic solutions that don't address the depth of problems. He announces by fiat because nobody ever said "no," instead of listening, learning, and creating agreement.

He likes big big things, because they make him clap and laugh, from fire trucks to arches. Look through the labels to the man, and it's clear who he is. A simple arrogant man who was never told "no" as a child. And we elected him President. Shame on us.

Strip search them and do a body cavity search. And of course, take booking photos of every single one of them and publish them immediately. Let them spend the night in jail, and then try to prove to the judge that the person they grabbed was committing a crime.

Let's stop pretending that putting an army of poorly trained vigilantes on the street, in masks, with a command to arrest brown people is even the slightest bit legal. Arrest them all. If you agree, feel free to share.

Assign a police officer to follow every single ICE agent and ticket them or arrest them for the slightest transgression, from speeding to turning without a signal to traveling in vehicles with mis-assigned license plates, to assault, battery, deprivation of civil rights, and even to kidnapping.

Remember, being a law enforcement officer is an affirmative defense to the crime, not a presumption of innocence, meaning they have the duty to prove it. If they are grabbing people while wearing face masks and nothing but a "POLICE" patch, nothing to prove identity or department, arrest them.

But the monied Republicans, the people whose wealth funded the Trump schemes and lined the Trump pockets, were looking to Ivanka’s children to carry on the name. And that is how the war began.

Ivanka rose to the vice presidency, Eric Trump was appointed Secretary of State, and the Trump family had an iron grip on the American government.

A year later, when Trump‘s illness could no longer be concealed from the public, he quietly retired and Ivanka rose to the presidency. She was reelected with 99% of the vote after Democrats were declared enemies of the state. and she presided over a government that was overwhelmingly Republican,

The White House announces municipal water is to be replaced with Brawndo, the thirst quencher.

The number of trans athletes at the elite level (Div. I college, Olympics, professional, etc.) is infinitesimal, and each sport's leading body sets rules on time, hormones, etc. But let's not talk about those.

What is that goal? Because the opportunity to have peers and a team and be part of something keeps trans (and other LGBTQ+) kids from killing themselves, and if people are "against trans kids competing" to the point that they

would rather a child commit suicide than share a medal with another kid, well, that's where you lose me (and anybody else who is a decent f'ing human being, FFS).

Let's talk about kids, kids in middle school and high school, when many trans kids are starting to figure themselves out. What is the goal of secondary school sports? Is it to get a scholarship (isn't there a better way to educate our future than asking them to perform in modern gladiator games?)?

Or is it to teach how to be a member of a team? Or is to give a kid a chance to have a peer group and a team around them and to be part of something? Is it for the elite athlete or for the kid who wants to part of something?
