If you don't have a fountain pen because you think they are expensive - think again. Picked up this pen for $5, and people mod them to just pour the ink into the pen case itself to save on ink cartridges. Biggest advantage of paper over digital is that it cannot send you push notifications.

Just listened to an All Things Considered piece on electric cars in Norway and while it was overall a pretty good piece, NOT ONCE did it mention at-home charging. Lots of discussion about new chargers at Circle-K, how taxi drivers are adapting, incentives, range, etc. No mention of home charging.

If you are using separate #zsa #moonlander layers for separate keyboard layouts, how do you handle it? You cannot send a macros, and change the layer at the same time in oryx. With qmk you can define a hook on layer change, but its not as convenient to edit.

Been using dvorak-qwerty-cmd layout for over 10 years now, finally switching to pure #Dvorak, here's why: 1. While it's convenient to have copy-paste shortcuts where they are in qwerty, every new shortcut that uses cmd requires me to look at the keyboard and find where that button is

3. Only mac has a built-in dvorak-qwerty layout. On windows there's a custom layout that works even better, keeping keycodes the same as qwerty, meaning the games work as they should. But on linux, the only simple solution I found is to keep qwerty as default layout, and dvorak on top

Found reasons why #obsidian is better: - Vim support, including .vimrc, I can use 'df' as <Esc> on my iPad - Notes stored as files, meaning I can edit them in neovim if I want to. - Markdown is the best way to add markup to text - Even their canvas files are saved in open-source format they made

Question for people using #obsidian, how is it better than apple notes, besides supporting other platforms?

To clear a misconception I often see from people who know about version control but don't want to use it: Git ≠ GitHub ≠ open source You can have a local Git repo and keep your change history only for yourself.

If you're writing code and you don't use version control (such as git), WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU READING THIS?! Go set one up! RIGHT F**KING NOW! There is absolutely no reason to code without version control. /vent #GameDev #Godot

You are up to date.
