Please don't overreact to the SCOTUS SAVE database decision today Page 6 of the decision makes clear that we are in the 90 day statutory window when mass changes cannot be made to voter lists! Yeah it's a shit decision for the reasons the 3 dissenters say but we can deal with it. More to come...

Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good. I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

Stephanie, I adore you and I’m so happy you’re now with me every morning on your new show. But Donny Deutsch has got to stop with his single minded obsession against Palestinians. It’s repugnant and he needs to get some balance in his perspective.

Jack Smith is calling for the House Judiciary Committee to release the recording of his full closed-door deposition before the panel. "Doing so will ensure that the American people can hear the facts directly from Mr. Smith, rather than through second-hand accounts."

Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

Zohran Mamdani walked into the Oval Office with strength, without betraying his own values or beliefs, and had trump eating out of his hand, defending and praising him, even saying it's OK to call him a fascist. Gave up nothing. Gained respect. Absolute masterclass.

Anybody else beginning to suspect that the MAGA community is using their newfound outrage over Trump's obvious deep connection to Epstein as an excuse to finally separate from without having to acknowledge how wrong they were about his suitability as the leader of the country?

Embracing the sun today. This Egyptian terracotta depicts Harpocrates as a solar deity emerging from the lotuses on the banks of the Nile along with Isis-Thermouthis (Renenutet). Possibly linked to the start of the annual flood in July, it’s also perfect for the solstice 🏺 #Egyptology AncientBluesky

Our 1787 Constitution became law 237 yrs ago today when NH ratified it June 21, 1788, because Article VII made that new Constitution binding in all 13 states once the 9th ratified it, superseding Article XIII of the Articles of Confederation, which had impossibly required unanimity for every change.

I joined Ali Velshi last night on MSNBC’s The Eleventh Hour to discuss the Chief Justice’s rebuke of the President. I explained that America is in a constitutional crisis when, rather than faithfully executing the laws, the President of the United States is defying the laws.

The idea of filing inevitably doomed articles of impeachment against Chief Judge Boasberg of DC is worse than absurd. It’s a way of saying you don’t respect the rule of law, don’t believe in checks and balances, and don’t understand — or have utter contempt for — the United States Constitution.

It's heartening that today the leaders of the two major parties in Germany are unequivocally anti-Nazi and anti-fascist. It's horrifying that today the president and vice-president of the United States of America are not.
