Oh, something I forgot to mention... the game is obviously designed for keyboard and mouse primarily While it supports controllers, they don't work the best in menus This could be solved with a couple of fixes I've seen in other games:

1. A button to quickly switch sides in any menu that has 2 inventory windows (like shopping/donating/storage) shoulder or trigger buttons would be a good choice 2. Making start jump the cursor to OK As is, some things don't feel intuitive and I keep dropping my items on the ground as a result

Movement feels smooth which translates to the combat. There's a fluidity to it and even combos with your attacks. It's just really hard to aim, since your attacks never lock onto anything, you go flying off in a random direction and whiff all your attacks

I anticipate the game becoming even more fun once I unlock magic and am able to start messing with spells The ability to heal would go a long way since I can't really make useful recovery food early game or afford to buy much

I like the crafting system so far, but cooking is a bit rough. There are practically no things you can make at first and you get fed a bunch of higher level recipes that can't be prepared. The biggest hurdle is getting early cooking levels to be able to make anything Why is a baked potato lv4?

Rune Factory had a similar progression, but it was a lot easier to get started because the were a ton of low level recipes that you could make with stuff you could easily grow or find to grind levels on

Farming seems to work well enough, which is my biggest interest. I like the perks system and will probably grab a lot of the farming-related ones early There are plenty of foragables, so money isn't too big of a concern early game, but you won't instantly get rich either like you can in Stardew
