It's technically the day after Talk like a Pirate Day, but I did run a Pirate Borg game at one of the biggest cons here in Italy, and the players had a lot of fun!

It feels unreal to say it, but not only in less than two weeks I'll run games at a national con (Shadowdark and Pirate Borg), but from next month I'll start collaborating with a venue where I'll be paid for GMing (not much, but still)!

A few days ago I've tried Dragonbane for the first time, in a duet session, and while I like it...there must be something I'm missing about combat. It felt way too brutal. Anyone can suggest a video or blog explaining it so that I can see what I was doing wrong? #ttrpg #dragonbane

Last night I ran my second session of Shadowdark and my players completed the Trial of the Slime Lord funnel, graduating to level 1. Next session they'll start exploring my setting of Thauria! I gotta say, initially I was unsure about the real time torch timer, but it worked very well! #osr

So...I just finished session 9 of the duet Pirate Borg campaign I run for my wife. Her PC fell into an underground lake, awoke an eldritch abomination, tried to summon the Kraken, almost failed but made a deal with the Devil, and then barely managed to escape. It was a fun session. #osr #pirateborg
