China’s first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend. By contrast, the scrappy ‘Niu Lai’ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago. www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-r...

‪A lot of people think I’m joking when I say we need to traumatize children with movies again, but NO I 100% mean it.‬

Today marks the first day of #AceWeek! I happen to be asexual and also am one of the co-founders of Plot Warren, a new webnovel and webcomic hosting website with a hard noAI policy! Doors open Nov 1st but you can get early access via requesting an invite on the site! #AsexualAwarenessWeek #Ace

Yasuo sings with utter passion and looks glamorous doing it. ✨️ Tools include, but are not limited to, ohuhu, gel pens, whiteout, colored pencil, and toothpick. #art #physicalart #humanartist #illustration #mahoju #prettyboy #femboy #genderfluid #oc #ocart

men will literally bring about the end of humanity as we know it instead of go to therapy and address their misogyny

I don’t know if you will have noticed this. In the midst of an absolute crisis in every level of our health system, the Green Party announced a policy to massively boost funding to Health with a $30Bn investment over four years.

Every time I go any period without drawing I’m afraid it’s going to be like this:

This is so disappointing, especially considering the work Spiegelman's known for. But since he's clearly not realizing what he's doing, he should be given appropriate feedback by the community :( I doubt being lazy is worth becoming an art community pariah.

Hey Kathleen. Young women don't owe you a fucking explanation for anything especially not their own bodily autonomy. This woman has apparently published academic papers on aesthetics so I guess her animosity towards our MOBILITY AIDS is supposed to mean something. www.thetimes.com/comment/colu...

Plot Warren is very anti-AI. All three of us working on bringing it to life despise AI. Plot Warren also has a social side to it where people can blog and share what they're reading. Think of it like if Tapas, Tumblr, and Myspace had a baby with publishing capabilities!

PPWR NEWS The European Parliament voted in favor to remove the EPR regulation for small businesses! Meaning you won't need to pay an authorized representative for each country you're shipping to! There's still several steps so it can be fully implemented! www.circularonline.co.uk/news/meps-ba...

I'm proudly now on Plotwarren and migrating my comics from Tapas. This platform already looks great for being a way to engage with creators and fans.! plotwarren.com/w/delyththom... #webcomic #plotwarren #supportcreators

Today marks 27 years since I began Serebii! I truly cannot thank you enough for all your support as the site continues to grow and reach new heights. The fact that so many of you trust me daily really means the absolute world to me. #Serebii27

This is where the industry funding is going btw, and we'll never see this come back. Even if investors pull out now to save their own asses, they'll have gained a massive lack of trust in tech (and inadvertently games as well) and we'll all be worse for it.

Congratulations to the overworked idea guy in charge of making all snack food taste like shit. Doritos, & cheetos, & all the deet-os have had their recipes ship of theseus'd so many times that I no longer want to buy them. Raise the price of those suckers to $10 a bag, because I no longer want them

I used to get commissioned for some of the most amazing Halloween themed icons, I miss drawing masterpieces like this one.

No ISBNs in Canada for AI writing. This is a fantastic policy, and every country should do the same. www.canada.ca/en/library-a...

Buddy, they can't even afford single sex spaces as it is. The article mentions this too. Aside of the horrible way of treating trans people this is putting unnecessary strain on the NHS for a non-fucking-issue.

Are you tired of webnovel and webcomic websites full of AI Slop? Plot Warren is a new webnovel and webcomic site with a strict NoAI policy! plotwarren.com Request an invite for Early Access in Oct and get one month of Creator Gold tools free. #Webnovel #Webcomic #NoAI #MadeByHumans #PlotWarren

Enjoying a delightfully unsettling time with these @helleborezine.bsky.social gems. Would very much welcome a second volume of Occult Britain. This is scratching an itch of weird English that other recent anthos I've read have lacked.

Reminder that Twitter's AI allows so people to make sexual deepfakes of minors. As much as this site is awful with the vice coding, it's still the most tolerable for now.

Welp, had my lumbar puncture / spinal tap. Turns out im double the normal pressure for spinal fluid so now on some pretty strong meds. First immediate side effect..... carbonated drinks like pepsi now taste super hecking bitter...sobs #life #health
