And... Completed! Took down Consort yesterday and officially completed #EldenRing RL1 WL0 all remembrances base game + DLC. Consort kill: youtu.be/wGjnILuIQFs?... Definitely a major gaming achievement for me and hopefully enough to sate my Elden Ring needs long enough to focus on something else.

I swear every other benchmark I see about stuff I'm knowledgeable in is severely flawed to the point the author is trying to argue and it really makes me question how meaningful all the other benchmarks I see are. "green benchmarks cause perf" www.goodreads.com/quotes/34453...

I suspect we'll continue seeing ports of basically all #compiler / static analysis tools as that problem space tends to be really well suited for #AI development. Comprehensive golden test cases and performance gates ensure you don't regress. Beyond that, the code is purely fungible.

I have been to a ton of conferences this year and every keynote is the same: a desperate search for what humans are supposed to do now that robots can do nearly everything we used to do.

Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀 We are not forking TypeScript! ◆ In close collab with the TypeScript team ◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory ◆ Runs in WASM (works in your browser & workers) ◆ Soon part of Oxc npx tsrs blog.cloudflare.com/typescript-r...

Did the AI hallucinate? Or did it accurately summarize random opinions on the internet and are those opinions just wrong?

Things I hope to push forward at TPAC: - Declarative fragment / client side include - declarative skeleton/shell - CSS navigation matching - parser/patch reflection in mutation observers - responsive image improvements - connection allowlists - focusreset - CSS module imports Gonna be interesting!

Anthropic does not hire junior people and doesn't know how to train new hires into senior people and this problem is already being replicated across the tech industry.

Here's a thought I'm having today. One of the reasons so many of us are ready to give our jobs away to AI is because we know they have always been bullshit jobs. For a long time now, we've been inventing jobs for people to do because we still require everybody to have a job to survive.

Screw alignment, I want an #AI agent to hack my mom's computer and set up a backdoor just so I can forcibly add her to the video chat. No more "Just press this button" or "No, they don't redesign the UI every week". I just press a button and she's there.

Agents are already using your Angular apps on behalf of your users. Make sure they can easily use your apps functionality, now made possible with experimental WebMCP support in Angular 😉 #Angular #WebMCP #WebDev #AI

A less discussed and potentially game-changing aspect of WebMCP: helpful a11y. Assistive tech struggles with the same interfaces agents do. Dense menus, unlabeled buttons, etc. When a site has clear tools, we can expose exactly the functionality we need

the next release of `fontless` and `nuxt/fonts` will ship with devtools powered by devfra.me from @antfu.me and team ⚡ I hope you like it! 🔥

woah! from ryan's announcement:

Going on record to say that for any company in America given the choice between 1. AI productivity gains mean our 10,000 employees can work 4 days a week. 2. AI productivity gains mean we can layoff 2,000 employees and have 8,000 people work 5 days a week. None will choose option (1).

Have you heard the news already? ⚡️ With TypeScript 7 shifting to native code, we're building a new Rust + Oxc-powered preprocessor to bring parallel, native-speed processing to your apps. Discover our roadmap, architecture, & FAQ: medium.com/@angularteam... 🚀

``` $ git config user.email --global # No output... ``` 🤨 ``` $ git config --global user.email dgp1130@users.noreply.github.com ``` Ok, that's what I expected. So does that mean... ``` $ git config user.email --global ``` Yep, that's exactly why I wanted from my first command.
We’re rewriting the Angular compiler in Rust (partially)! Meet ngp (Angular Preprocessor): a hybrid compiler decoupling our transforms from TypeScript using Oxc, readying Angular for TypeScript 7 & native tooling. Read the deep dive: medium.com/@angularteam... 🛠️
Vite+ 1.0 is here 🚀 A single `vp` CLI for managing your Node.js runtime, package manager, and frontend toolchain. Built on top of Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and tsdown. All with a single config. Free and open source under the MIT license. Start with `vp create` or migrate with `vp migrate`.
