OMG I wanted to have this so badly I almost built it myself. Half my account is ranting about forge CLIs (bsky.app/profile/jani... etc.) Wondering if it replaces normal git commands though? E.g stacking and re-basing, moving up a branch tree etc.?
Wait. When submitting a stack though github cli, it doesn't set the remote tracking branch? I'm sure the cli submits the code via git, since I had to unlock my SSH key. If I had push.autoSetupRemote enabled and gh cli would have chosen a different branch name, I'd have two remote branches?
But imagine this lib and a bomb.sh cli around it! Maybe even JJ compatible?

it's _very_ early, and we'd love help π add a provider π help us test π or tell us what's missing! forges.link/contributing/write-a-provider
huge thanks to everyone who's already contributed β€οΈ it's always more fun to build together! π github.com/danielroe/forges
by the way, the video was inspired by a video created by @atinux.com - which was inspired by a video from @serko.dev it was built in @vuejs.org and if anyone is interested I might commit it to the repo... π π€
Thank you Daniel and team for building this and including Pushin.eu in it π«Ά
This looks neat. Does it have a concept of "versions" for commits? Or well, does it map on the concept of change ids in JJ? docs.jj-vcs.dev/latest/gloss... I'm looking for a better way to review changes. Once I've found it, a tool like this looks great to add some automation around it!
that might be something to track... π right now, we do have a wizard for configuring token/app scopes for different forges
