Got to that bit in #CONTROLResonant. Like with Alan Wake 2 (and Control ect.) I'm always blown away with the bold swings that @remedygames.com are willing to take with the form. I appreciate them being buried there to be dug out so you never really know when it'll happen, or indeed what could happen

Also, there's a lovely little puzzle in there with shadows. Now, the software I write isn't a game so I've no idea how hard that was to implement but to whoever came up with that and got it working, my hat is off to you

Oh, and there's a very brief appearance from Pip Torrens. He's one of my favourite actors and while I think he only has one line he delivers it so well

I've always had a soft spot for Big Finish's Star Cops, but Conflict has been a really interesting series. It's taken a few risks where it could have played it safe and it's such good drama for that! I can't wait to hear how this ends next month, but whatever it is my hat is off to all involved

⭐ OUT NOW! ➡️ Star Cops – Conflict: Tick Tock. Click https://bgfn.sh/sc5c5 to download to own. Moonrise is in grave danger 🌙

Also, really enjoying the serialised nature of it. Between this and the weekly releases of Sherlock Holmes and Run Fast, Be Kind it's nice to have some longer story arcs to get my teeth into

Great show and a fine send-off to something that's been a great weekly listen for the past few years! Well worth braving the GWR network to get into London for.

NEW FULL EPISODE UP NOW An A-list Japanese cast. An international action star. A budget somewhere between $175million and $225million. A director making his first film. A box office bomb so bad the studio wrote it off the day after it was released. spotifycreators-web.app.link/e/x6WHtneNe6b

So I finished Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy today. I wasn't sure going in, I'm a big fan of the stealth-based stuff in the previous games and while I wasn't against them doing more stuff in that world despite the way the ending to Requiem wrapped it up, I was particularly excited by "more combat"

Narratively, I can't help but wonder if the parallel storylines are a trial for doing the same thing with Amica and SPOILER from the very end of Requiem. I'd definitely be up for that, the two interwoven stories were done well, it's one of those things that could easily fall apart but it never does

There's still a lot of good puzzling to be had in there, plus the narrative gets time to shine. There's even a beat near the end that does something really interesting to weave the narrative and the necessity of combat together that I really liked! It's definitely enjoyable

I guess what I'm wrestling with is whether, if Asobo does another one, is this the new pattern going forward or can we expect a return to the more stealth based gameplay of the previous games. As I say, I enjoyed the combat but there was something about the other game that felt a bit more unique

Damn. Recently saw Clue for the first time and was blown away by how much Tim Curry gave to that role. Not that that's surprising, it's how he treated every role. A real loss

"Yeah, sorry boss, I'm going to have to miss standup. No, nothing is wrong, it's just the first major downpour in months so I'll be outside doing my best Gene Kelly Singin' in the Rain impression"

Has anyone claimed "Scandinavian Wings" as a takeaway yet?

New Scandinavian wings at Wandsworth and Pentonville jails have seen a 45% fall in assaults, 57% drop in self harm and halving of staff absence rates - fascinating results from trial into a more rehabilitative approach to prisons observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

Having thoroughly enjoyed Death at the White Hart last year, I've been looking forward to The Parkwood Murders and it does not disappoint! A cracking little mystery that had me second-guessing myself all the way to the denouement.
