Could be out in public demanding the government release the report on the US bombing of schoolchildren in Iran but I guess this is almost as good

Sarah Trone Garriott@sarahforiowa.bsky.social

We’ve been on the road throughout the district, and had to stop at the Iowa Quilt Museum in Winterset!

Look at the little smile O Kay can’t help herself from showing as she asks Brenna Bird if she had any role in negotiating the steel mill deal. Short answer - No! She was just there to smile for the camera next to Trump obviously.

If you’re wondering how confident Rob Sand is at this point in the election, here he is given a chance to answer Zach Lahn’s attack about tax increases and he just goes “nah” when asked if he has a rebuttal.

You see, we simply can’t not put the 100 million tons of manure produced by factory farms in Iowa directly on our land to run off into the water every year. There’s nowhere else to put it!

Likely scam

“We all know the problems in our country. Greedy corporations and their millionaire CEOs are behind the healthcare industry, oil industry, and banking industry. In Iowa, it’s the big agribusiness polluting our water and t our farmers. Out of state landowners…”@theswinerepublic.bsky.social

Great to join @lastwordmsnow.bsky.social tonight to talk about how Zach Nunn's votes for the war in Iran have increased costs for Iowans.

Only way to recover from the terrible Rob Sand and Josh Turek anti-trans rhetoric is for Chris Jones and Nate Willems to promote inclusivity in promoting new farmers and equal rights pursued through the Attorney General’s office

Maybe I’m just too dumb to know better, but it seems super corrupt for a local government to be like “we HAVE to spend $100+ million dollars on fancy new buildings” and then right before the vote spend all their time doing videos of problems that supposedly prove it’s necessary

Alternatively a popular movement could take control of the Iowa Legislature in 2028 and force Governor Sand to do something meaningful asap

Once we have more than two realistic options on the ballot, elected officials will have to focus on serving us to get reelected instead of just scaring us.

A million repeats of the line “an endless war in Iran” coming out of her stupid mouth

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson, running for Senate in Iowa, claims the Iran war is "thousands of miles away. It is out of sight, out of mind for so many Americans.” (Hinson has defended the war and voted against war powers resolutions.)

Attention locals: area jail boosters are attempting to rebrand them as “public safety infrastructure“….

Attention locals: area datacenter boosters are attempting to rebrand them as "digital infrastructure," so if you hear that in the din of your day, now you know.

“Our workers”

Rob Sand@robsandia.bsky.social

Labor Day has always been about honoring the achievements of our workers. I'm proud to have always stood shoulder to shoulder with Iowa workers because it's the laborers, teachers, health care workers, police offiers, and service workers who make Iowa work day after day.

“They” feel the cuts. Not her of course she receives first class healthcare I’m sure. But those poor others.

Christina Bohannan@bohannaniowa.bsky.social

Miller-Meeks can run from her record and play political games, but Iowans know better. They feel the Medicaid cuts. They see their premiums skyrocketing. And they know she will always side with Big Pharma and Big Insurance. It’s time to put corrupt politics behind us and finally put Iowa first.
