If true, I have serious concerns about this being a war crime. Under the laws of armed conflict: Proportionality: the military advantage has to outweigh the anticipated civilian harm. Hard to see what military advantage would outweigh robbing 20k people of drinking water.

It's going to be a fantastic concert. Vladdy sang bass, Bibi sang tenor, Don't Jr. and Eric joined right in there, In the sky, Lord, in the sky.

It's kinda like bragging to your wife that your three STI tests have all come back negative. She's gonna know something is a bit strange.

If you have to brag about your plethora of cognitive tests then you're not very cognitivy.

And all this time, I thought it was just a few tourists who wanted to see the Capitol. I mean, that's what Trump told us. And Trump would never, ever lie to us, would he?

Smith straight out of the gate making it explicitly clear that in BOTH of Trump’s federal criminal cases, there was “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” and that Smith’s team would have prevailed at trial.

And it sure looks like it increased dramatically during Trump 1.0

JUST IN: AG Pam Bondi deletes a post touting a chart as proof of the Trump administration's success in reducing drug overdoses—after being informed the data actually reflected the *Biden* administration’s record.

Krashnov Felon Dump is a Russian Putin Turd, who works hard to destroy the United States.

BREAKING: A Russian newspaper today — “America no longer sees our country as a threat… The US leader’s philosophy is closer to the values of Russia’s president, not the politicians of the Old World… he sees Europe as a liberal stronghold that must be destroyed…” Read that again.

If you listen to anything today, listen to this man talk. He speaks truth to power! I can’t wait till the day he and his family are NO LONGER IN POWER! And yes, that day WILL come! - - - - K A R M A - - - -

Perfectly normal behavior for a US president. I'm sure Obama had Putin on speed dial, and they probably texted eachother late at night.

Every single time Trump has a meeting with Zelensky, Putin calls Trump the day before and Trump’s position in the Zelensky meeting then mirrors the Russian position. The talking points are the same, with all the same lies. It’s a simple playbook for Putin and it works every time.

"I had a good and very productive phone call with Führer Hitler of Germany prior to my meeting with Charles de Gaulle of France today. Führer Hitler was very clear about which parts of France not currently under Nazi control he wants. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Winston Churchill."

I miss the days when presidents made just one holiday post, wishing Americans a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Instead, we have a pedophile president sending out 200 threatening, vengeful, deranged tweets. Sir Psycho Syphilis is losing it. Envoke the 25th Amendment, for fuck's sake.

I've now watched the censored 60 Minutes report on CECOT. If you watched it too—and if you have any decency at all—I'm sure you came to the same conclusion I did: winning elections won't be enough; people like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem will need to be charged and imprisoned.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque: "This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Imagine you had millions of people in your life who ignored everything you ever said but would show up once a year and make a huge deal about your birthday, claiming they were your biggest fans. Crazy, right? Anyway…Merry Christmas.

The only way the US will survive its current crisis is through the courage of people like Mark Kelly.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Mark Kelly: "They are not silencing me. I'm still speaking out. I still am going to do my job every single day regardless of whether this president wants to kill me, hang me, execute me, or shut me up. I'm not gonna shut up."

Frankly, I would be embarrassed if someone offered me a "prize" like this. The whole world recognizes that this is not even a participation prize - it is a shiny token designed to placate the president of the United States. And, even more embarrassing, it worked!

Koh: This is not about justice. This is about power. This is about a Secretary of Defense so drunk off alpha male bullshit that he's willing to take lives to get off on that power.

I definitely believe this. It is obvious that he has no concept of habeas corpus.

Sen. Kelly: “This is about a president who doesn't want anybody to say anything that he does not like. I don't think he understands the Constitution. I think he is ignorant to the Constitution and the rule of law…This isn't about me. This is about what he will do next.”
