What do Catherine Connolly, Donald Trump and myself have in common? We are all mentioned in this article in the Irish Times by Ronan McGreevy:

Today, we said a final farewell to our beloved friend and colleague, Dr Dmitri Grigoriev, at a beautiful and deeply moving service in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome. (1/8)
Our deepest sympathies are with Olga, Ilya, his beloved father Uri, and all of Dmitri’s family and friends. We hope they can take some comfort from knowing just how highly regarded and deeply appreciated he was by his colleagues throughout DIAS, and how fondly he will be remembered. (7/8)
Today, we said a final farewell to our beloved friend and colleague, Dr Dmitri Grigoriev, at a beautiful and deeply moving service in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome. (1/8)
Whether supporting lectures outside normal working hours, volunteering his expertise, joining colleagues for a Cúpan Tae, or simply stopping for a conversation, he contributed enormously to the life and community of DIAS. (5/8)
Dmitri was a quiet and private man, a consummate professional and, always, a gentleman. Those who worked alongside him will remember his gentle nature, his kindness, his dry humour, his dedication and the warmth he showed to colleagues. We will miss him greatly. (6/8)

He was a highly valued member of our Senior Management Team, bringing considerable technical and academic expertise, as well as an unfailing curiosity about and support for the research and advanced studies taking place across DIAS. Above all, Dmitri was a true colleague. (3/8)
Again and again in recent days, people have spoken of his generosity with his time, his willingness to help and the fact that he so rarely said no when someone needed his support. (4/8)

Dmitri joined DIAS in 2011 as our first Head of Information Technology and gave more than 15 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Institute. (2/8)
