I want to run Six Seasons in Sartar so badly again. I’m obsessing over it. The funny thing is I have a love hate relationship with the RQ rule set. Has anyone tried running it with anything else? Would Dragonbane work with a few Glorantha adjustments?

It's EOY wrap-up season but here at IGRC World HQ that just means we'd better push out all the mini-reviews we didn't do all year long. 38 short reviews of what showed up on our doorstep in 2025. Is your favorite game in there? Looking for something new to play? Big year. Much books. Wao.

indiegamereadingclub.com2025 Inbox at the ClubIt will come as no surprise that a lot more games show up here at IGRC World HQ than we can possibly play. But they all get read! Given I greatly prefer to write based on play experience, and given…

A 50-year mortgage is a massive scam that vastly increases interest payments and bank earnings while lowering equity and turning "home owners" into lifelong renters who get a tiny decrease in their monthly payments, all without lowering home costs.

The Trump regime establishing a series of accounts on Bluesky on the eve of the largest civil protest ever planned in this country is the most pathetic “pick me!” behavior I have ever seen. Block them all and let’s hit the streets. ❌👑

#runequest #Glorantha I’ve got a question about RQ advancement. Does the lack of real leveling milestones make make advancement, well, boring in RQ? A leveled system allows for something tangible to work toward but RQ just lets you get marginally better at things you already do. Is it a problem?

@ttrpg.bsky.social About 20 years ago I helped write and edit the netbook for the Wheel of Time RPG called Under the Dragon’s Banner. I’m curious if people remember using it and if they know what became of another contributor, Randy Madden. Randy went by Eosin the Red online.

I’m three sessions into my #Runequest campaign running Six Seasons in Sartar. I adore #Glorantha, though it’s been a heavy lift for the players. I don’t love the RQ: G rules. They are fiddly and overly complex. Having just come off running Shadowdark I struggle with running it.

Lee Jae-myung, Leader of South Korea's Democratic Party, live-streamed himself scaling the walls of the National Assembly to bypass military barricades so that he could vote to overturn the President's martial law.

#Runequest #Glorantha I would love to put together a starter pack of RQ fans/creators here on Bluesky. If you’d like to be included please comment here. If we get enough interest I’ll put it together.

I am in an RPG GM loop. I’m anxious that my session will suck so I sleep poorly the night before. Since I slept poorly, my session suffers and I’m anxious about that. How do I break the cycle?

Final #BurningWheel pitch: The Dark Lord is victorious and his minions occupy the land. The only hope is the prophesy of the babe with white eyes who shall restore peace to the land. That babe has most been born in your tiny village.

#BurningWheel pitch 2: Another pitch: the tribe that captured the living god has grown powerful on the power they siphon from him. Now the god has died and the tribe finds itself powerless. I’d love feedback.

Burning Wheel pitch: The small village of Green Hollow sits in a picturesque valley, its tranquility shattered by an impending visit from the feared Imperial Magister. Every year, the Magister arrives to test the twelve-year-olds for latent magical abilities. How’s that sound? #burningwheel

I have a craving for Traveller fiction. I find the Third Imperium a rich environment for storytelling. I’ve read all the fiction Mongoose has to offer as well as Marc Miller’s outstanding Agent of the Imperium. Is there more? What am I missing?

You are up to date.
