This new tool layers Wikipedia articles onto a map to make your half-hour walk more interesting trib.al/V4ph9Xf
Thanks to feedback from users LIKE YOU, this now has a sticky nav: www.neil-scott.com/walkipedia/
This looks great. Do you have plans to make the main nav and search bar at the top sticky so it's always accessible? At the moment there could be a lot of scrolling back up if you want to search for a different place.
Due to Ed getting annoyed with me I have renamed this to Walkipedia: www.neil-scott.com/walkipedia/ As suggeted to me by @robbiegordon.bsky.social, the legend from @wonderfools.org
I have, I am embarrassed to say, gone semi-viral on X with my remix of Ed’s local wiki thing. www.neil-scott.com/localwiki/
Thanks to @robmanuel.b3ta.com for reminding me of my absolute favourite bit from I, Partridge.

Had this idea in lockdown, half-built it, forgot about it, remembered it again, though might as well finish it.
Inspired by @edjefferson.com's excellent Local Wiki, I made a version where you can see where everything is on the map: www.neil-scott.com/localwiki/

Between 14-27 September, my photo of pigeons in front of a giant croissant will be in the southside of Glasgow as part of a poster campaign. The idea is to replace adverts with “something unusual, out of place, serendipitous, or thought-provoking hidden within the everyday” urbancoincidence.com

The Calton Weavers suffered a terrible injustice in life, and in death. Next year is the 240th anniversary of the killing. It's time to revoke the Freedom of the City which was bestowed on the officers who ordered the massacre and grant it to the weavers! Pass it on! www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYbG...

Terrible update this, looks like CCA Archive is now just selling off all of it's archive, furniture and materials. It takes such effort to be this disrespectful to Glasgow's art community. A real shame. www.heraldscotland.com/news/2641379...
