A sad day for Trekkies everywhere. Chekov was one of the best characters on the show. Just a great presence. RIP
A plurality of editors, story editor, reporters do not understand AI, AI systems, technical methods, or how agents and harnesses are often used. It's complicated and fast moving. But, stories like this have a commonality: these are crimes. Report them as crimes committed by people using AI tools.
The Cheesecake Factory designs their restaurants knowing they're over the top. It's a feature not a bug. Right-winger MAGA has no sense of humor.
Side note here... I would support no man having a vote of any kind on the topic of abortion or women's rights. We (men) need to STFU.
"After weighing these factors, Paulk has decided for the first time in his life to cast a ballot for a Democrat -- Ossoff. He doesn't agree with him on all issues -- notably, abortion -- but it's Ossoff's help in getting federal aid after Helene wreaked havoc on Paulk's grape crop that won his vote"
Can we put an end to the Vivek era already? He can go back to thieving people out of healthcare and medicine, and his anti-ESG investment company.
New AI model from Jack Dorsey focused on spoken conversation. It is, well, incredible and most definitely frightening. As this gets better and better it will ruin thousands of lives. Many people will not accept their AI thingy is not real and does not care about them. block.xyz/dessa
“Well, I don’t know if it was anybody, because it wasn’t me, and I don’t think it was Elon". He really thinks everyone is gullible and stupid.
"The evacuation route and start of the cease-fire were not immediately clear, and the White House did not comment."
I consider myself super woke, like really woke. But this, no. What are we doing?
I predict Elon Musk will spend the end of his miserable, drug-addled, creepy days in a non-extradition country, which are not really nice places for a baby-minded billionaire.
More broadly, the world has settled into the cycle to simply shift private citizens money and public money into the hands of the ultra wealthy. When a government has a budget deficit, it means the people that pay the taxes don’t have the money anymore.
across the world, we're in this cycle where right-wing governments waste a bunch of money & centre-left ones are relentlessly hounded about deficits & cuts www.reuters.com/world/uk/uk-...
It is difficult to comprehend for most of us how utterly ineffective Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have been diplomatically. It's an historic joke. Not Gaza. Not Iran. Not Ukraine. Only the useless Abraham Accords. I sincerely hope they see the inside of a courtroom and face a jury.
Netflix. Just kill the games. Keep the podcasts, but find normal people, not the multi-million flash-in-the-pan celebs. Then produce shows that test well, and then commit for 3 seasons, shoot straight through, release weekly. 🫳 🎤
I can assure you Jensen Huang has zero understanding of Germans. This is a place where many, many people walk around with hundreds in cash so they don't get "tracked" by their bank. Can't wait for the labor unions to weigh in on "ROBOTS BUILDING ROBOTIC CARS INSIDE ROBOTIC FACTORIES".
NVIDIA CEO JENSEN HUANG SAYS HE BELIEVES MOST PEOPLE IN GERMANY WILL MOSTLY WORK INSIDE A DIGITAL TWIN OF THEIR COMPANY, BUILDING DIGITAL CARS WITH DIGITAL BRAINS, WITH AI ROBOTS BUILDING ROBOTIC CARS INSIDE ROBOTIC FACTORIES
Until the "deal culture" is rejected, all this bullshit will continue. Trump is addicted to this make-a-deal insanity. He loves the feeling he gets from besting a business rival (or so he might think, reality says otherwise). This is not real life. People are not living in the Wall Street movie.
Trump urged Kansas voters to support Republican Senator Roger Marshall, warning without evidence that the United States could experience France-style unrest if Democrats win. It's a bold strategy, Cotton, to threaten your own country to win votes. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.
French students protesting over crumbling schools, overcrowding, teacher shortages and selective university admissions are a microcosm of the wealth inequality epidemic. Unless govs are willing to tax ultra-wealth, either personal or corporate, the people are going to burn it all down.
Trump signed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act 👏, but Congress included Section 115, which authorizes the president to waive sanctions, restrictions, and (his own) tariffs when doing so is in the national interest. Trump's EO invokes that provision. 🖕 difopin.com/7pr9ye8
Your country will not win a drone war if you do not have complete data coverage of the battlefield. In addition to the concept of air superiority, now total connectivity is required. We must end SpaceX from controlling Starshield coverage.
“This might just bring down the entire Trump administration, an administration which I have supported from Day 1, whose policies I still support. It also may end the JD Vance/Marco Rubio ticket after you hear the phone call that I’m going to play tomorrow. It’s pretty freakin’ amazing.”
Super hoping a jury gets to decide if “being my friend” or “car deductible” would be normal payments to a rando young woman.
Direct 💉 into my brain. Super silly but fun as hell.
