NEVER FORGET: Lakers played the Thunder on April 2, 2026, and both Luka (hamstring) and AR (oblique) suffered injuries, of which Thunder fans were clowning them for. I have receipts.

Likelihood aside… Mike Schmitz and Masai Ujiri are willing to accept 3 2nds and a pick swap, plus Vando and Hardy, who do you prefer in return? Daniel Gafford: - 28 years old - 6’10 265 lbs - $18.1 million AAV - 2029 UFA PJ Washington: - 28 years old - 6’7 230 lbs - $22.1 million AAV - 2030 UFA

From @jovanbuha.bsky.social: The Lakers through 3 games: Record: 3-0 Offensive Rating: 125.9 (1st) Defensive Rating: 112.4 (16th) Net Rating: 13.5 (4th) Pace: 102.0 (16th) TS%: 68.2 (1st) 3PT%: 42.1 (2nd) 3PTA p100p: 35.1 (18th) Rebound %: 45.9 (26th) Def. Rebound %: 61.0 (29th) TOV%: 16.1 (15th)

As per the Lakers, Luka's 52 pts today was his 10th career 50-pt game (3rd as a Laker) to tie Kareem for 11th-most in NBA history. He is the 1st Laker since 1963 with at least 50 pts & 10 assists in a game. Luka Dončić, Elgin Baylor & Jerry West are the only Lakers to do this.

Luka is going to put up one of the most absurd statistical seasons we’ve ever seen if he stays healthy this year.

Lakers franchise record update: Luka just became the fastest player in franchise history to reach 3,000 points with the Lakers, doing so in 95 games. He also holds the franchise record for being the fastest player to reach 2,000 points with the Lakers, doing so in 65 games.

End of 2Q: Lakers 74, Jazz 71. Luka Doncic (25 pts) drops JJJ and hits a 3 to somehow take a three-point lead in a ridiculous first half. And I mean, ridiculous. Austin Reaves has 15 pts and helped lead the second-quarter comeback after a quite poor start from the Lakers.

LAKERS TAKE THE LEAD! Despite the team’s faults, with once a deficit as high as 18 points, the Lakers head into the half with heads up.

Too many 2nd chance opportunities. The Jazz have nearly as many offensive rebounds as the Lakers have defensive rebounds.

Walker Kessler was a defensive monster vs. Clippers. “He was always in the paint, and the threat of him blocking a shot deterred a ton of attempts. When Clippers players were brave enough to shoot, Kessler reminded them why that was a foolish idea.” ecreates88.substack.com/p/lakers-cli...

ecreates88.substack.comLakers beat the Clippers with defenseThanks to their defensive display, the Lakers defeated the Clippers on Friday night and remain undefeated.

All those draft picks the Lakers traded for Walker Kessler are looking like an UNDERPAYMENT. Although it’s early, through 2 games he’s averaging: - 24 points (11/13 FG, 2/4.5 FT) - 8.5 rebounds - 2 assists - 1.5 steals - 4 blocks - 1.5 turnovers Honors for MIP or 2nd Team All-Defense?

Collin Sexton says he expects to be play today but will be on a minutes restriction. He was disappointed to not play the opener but tried to stay present by practicing good leadership. On his leadership style: "Just coming in with the right attitude each and every day."

All good vibes from the post-game review with Edwin and Raj. The next header between the Lakers and Warriors is on October 30. Fireworks.

Working with @rajchipalu.bsky.social on these videos is one of my favorite things to do on this earth. We’re just talking Lakers on the hardwood, and we do it after every home game. Here are our thoughts on the season-opening win. youtu.be/rkskS8SPySA?...

Welcome to the Luka Dončić show. The Lakers (1-0) routed the Warriors in their season opener, as their star trio led the way. “I couldn’t wait for this day to come,” Dončić said. “It’s a lot of fun, and I’m just happy to be back on the court playing.” www.ocregister.com/2026/10/21/w...

Walker Kessler placed a lot of credit on the court vision of Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, among the rest of his teammates, when I asked him about his comfort level tonight. But he did say this: “The biggest thing is having the attitude and mentality to try to dunk everything.”

Paul George is up to 31 points midway through the third quarter. That's a new team record for a player making their Celtics debut, according to the @NBAonNBC broadcast.

Paul George at the half: - 17 points (5/9 FG, 3/5 3PT, 4/4 FT) - 2 rebounds - 0 assists - 4 steals - 0 blocks - 3 turnovers THAT’S MY 90TH PICK BABY! Long live the Redemption Arc fantasy bball team! As an aside: Fuck the Celtics.

Dear basketball gods, bless my team with sustained health. I don’t know how I pulled this draft off, but I will go down as having either the best or the worst team this season. - Giannis - AD - Trae - Harden - Garland - Embiid - Randle - Zion - PG - Ja - BI - Cason Wallace
