fun fact: the tokyo xtreme racer series started on the SNES, and featured the legendary Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya himself (you could even battle him in a race!). it also has some RPG elements and even some sim-esque driving physics. (screenies are from what i've played so far, its very kyusha!)
