I can only speak for my little corner of the world, but in music there was in fact a genuine vibe shift. Explicitly conservative songs were topping the charts. Let's Go Brandon was a viral meme. Nickelback headlined Kid Rock's festival with no notable backlash.

My only knowledge of Erika Ishii is from dropout stuff, where shes effortlessly funny and charming. Making hating her part of your personality is such a sad state of affairs.
