Avocado toast on my last slice of my Kalamata Olive Walnut Garlic and Herb Feta Sourdough. Put some diced cherry tomatoes, diced shallot, diced, fried bacon, garlic powder, lemon pepper, cumin, chili powder, Cajun seasoning, Tajin, lemon juice in the mashed avocado. Soooooo yummy 😋

I'm expressing my likely unpopular opinion here. Frances Tiafoe is a choke artist. It saddens me that he's been unable to truly tap in to his potential. 😏

We were going to have a dear friend over for dinner tonight. She sadly threw her back out picking her dog up this morning. So well just be enjoying these silky, tart Lemon Possets and Sourdough Oatmeal Lacy cookies for dessert ourselves.

Dinner was yummy. It wasn't colorful, but it was delicious! Oven Baked chicken breasts with a lovely mushroom gravy and oven roasted Yukon Golds. Some of my tastiest meals are in shades of brown 😋 Plus, used to lots of stuff in my fridge that needed using. Win win!

Wish everyone could smell this bread right now. Fresh from the oven Kalamata Olive Walnut and Garlic Herb Feta Sourdough.

Dinner came out great! Baked Arancini and Pan Sauteed Shrimp in a Wine, Lemon Juice, Butter and Garlic Pan Sauce. There was a spoonful of leftover spaghetti sauce under the Arancini. Sharp White Cheddar in the Arancini. Brushed with some evoo, baked at 400°F in Convection mode for about 30 mins.

Best batch so far. Made using my revived starter. They smell wonderful. Excellent recipe from Amy Bakes Bread. Sourdough English Muffins.

Got caught up in my own sourdough bread hubris recently. Result was a 1st. Full loaf of bread was tossed in the bin. I thought I could do one feed to "starved" starter & I'd be good to go. Reader, I was NOT good. So, I begged forgiveness. Fed generously over 5 days. Earned redemption. 😊

This will sound very nerdy, but when I was a kid, I revered the Supreme Court. If they could rule unanimously against segregation in 1954—when the two other branches of government would *never* have been brave enough—I thought they're the lone voice of good. That is all trashed now. They're garbage.

Who else enjoys breakfast for dinner? It's hubby's favorite thing. He's adorable. He came out to our living rm today, telling me he'd had a dream early this a.m. & , in it, he could smell bacon cooking. He was so happy! He woke up, 'bout to toss back the covers, hit the kitchen....till reality 🥺
