I was happy to discover this platform several months ago but abandoned it. (My spirit was breaking a little more every day and I had to limit my angst intake.) I now realize what others seem to know intuitively: the way through this anger and anxiety and soul-shocking ordeal is with community.

Work and public places should rethink bathroom design. Why are there two separate rooms with eight stalls and four sinks each? Where I work, there are bathroom "hallways" with 6 or 8 or 10 toilet-and-sink private rooms with nice heavy doors to the floor. No gender signs. Everyone is happy.
