Today was the first day, after nearly a year, of me getting out on my own. My e-bike is wonderful for getting around town. I got a cheeseburger.

I’m just going to say I hate my ostomy. I know people live with them fine but mine never heals. It always hurts and I can’t get the smell out of my head. Fiancé is always looking up new things to try but nothing works so far.

Eight days in the hospital for a blown out appendix. Staff are always great here - but it’s still a hospital. Unexpected stays are so much fun. At least I hate the painkillers they give me so the addiction angle just isn’t there.

Guess who’s appendix burst! Wouldn’t recommend it…
