Recently a middle aged lady took it upon herself to "help" me into putting on my backpack on a day I needed to use my cane. Without saying a word, she just grabbed my backpack strap and smiled benevolently at me. Switching to being visibly disabled really draws out the freaks and goblins. 🙄
