If Democrats want to cite a “strong on Russia” president to contrast with Trump there is no need to invoke Reagan. I’m not particularly a fan of his but you know who a beloved president that stared down Russia was?

First they came for the trans kids, and I did not speak up, because it was not egg prices. Then they came for the government workers, and I did not speak up, because it was not egg prices. Finally they came for the college protesters, and I did not speak up, because it was not egg prices.

At least it’s not just kids cancer research Republicans are trying to cut. It’s also $215T worth of cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, veterans benefits & nutritional assistance. All while adding $5T more to our debt so billionaires can make more billions. Is America great again yet? Did I miss the memo?

IMO Medicare for all will still require major private health care contracts and corporate third party vendors to process claims. Let’s work to take ALL corporate profit out of healthcare and provide direct government care. That’s probably too progressive, but we do it at the VA every day.
