Crazy to think 10 months ago this was all I had for a Sliver of Evidence and now it’s 60 pages and being published by Cairn Press!! Idk man that just seems kinda nuts! 🥜 www.kickstarter.com/projects/cai...

Started this solo dungeon crawl back in September and then my cat passed away (and big depression hit) so it took me some time to come back to it. Trying to revisit it now bc I want to practice adventure writing and drawing more maps on the fly

Its so satisfying to hear the outcomes of the situations you've written!

Forest, impaled up the talons of the Roc after failing to bewitch him. Kwen crushed under the weight of the collapsing temple as the island began to sink. Foolish deaths for good people.

Its always nice to start the day hearing that your Black Sword Hack adventure slaughtered half a group of barbarians and sorcerers.

I am a happy boy today. Placed 8th in the Appendix N Jam 2026 and came first in the Gameability category and placed second in Theme. This was my first jam and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Super excited to see if any of the judges dug my work too.

I'm in this one. Pick up some great value spooky adventures while you can!

Actually got to PLAY tonight. Spent several happy hours crawling some barrows of Barrowmaze in a shadowdark game run by @watcherdm.com Looted two barrows, went back to town, caroused, cheated at cards, ended up in the stocks with a hangover having turnips thrown at me. I regret nothing!

With a new baby and toddler, The Odyssey (2026) may be the last movie I'll see for a while, but I was still able to glean (or couldn't avoid gleaning) a few lessons from it for TTRPGs #osr #ttrpg

My “all good sci-fi starts with a meal and ends on a beach” theory seems to have struck a chord with listeners. I’ve made a 1-page sci-fi game that is nothing but meals and beaches. It’s goes as hard as I can make a game this small. half-apress.itch.io/6-meals-in-s...

Co-hosting a podcast was not on my to-do list this year, but when Andrew asked if wanted to join him reviewing sci-fi TTRPGs, I couldn't say no. Hey! A doog I know is co-hosting a TTRPG podcast highlighting scifi genres. First episode is talking about Death In Space by Christian Plogfors and Carl Niblaeus. If you enjoy freezing in the uncaring, merciless vacuum of space as much as I do... check it out: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a...

The way I fixed this the last time I said there wasn’t enough podcasts talking about something was by starting a podcast about it

This made my day. Thanks for the glowing feedback and I'm glad this was a hit with you. I have a deep and abiding fondness for sword and sorcery, so this was a joy to put together.

33. The Lemurian Larder by @doogface.bsky.social A venomous hexcrawl in the Age of Conan for Black Sword Hack 🐍 Gorgeous map, art, & layout. This may be the most on-theme of any of the entries I've reviewed thus far! Deadly environments, snake cults, clever puzzles, sweet loot- this ROCKS!

Blown away by the positive responses on this. The whole experience has been so fun and upbeat.

I have never asked for your vote before, I have no tongue for it. No-one will remember if you downloaded this adventure or why, all that matters that you did, and judged this one against many. Grant me your vote in the 2026 Appendix N Jam, and if you do not listen, then Crom take you!  #appxnjam

6 people sitting down to play in my west marches Gradient Descent campaign tonight. Two have never played Mothership before. Two of them are absolute wrecks after their last dive and have 19 and 14 stress respectively as well as the doomed and deflated conditions. PITY THEM.

My good friend Demi is going to be launching a kickstarter. You get to confront xenophobic racists, exploitative capitalists destroying the environment and confront a techbro unleashing a little understood technology. Feels pretty topical! They would love it if you follow their pre-launch page.
