I've opened up openshot today, some video editor software. I thought it might be better than kdenlive but nah, it doesn't automatically seperate audio tracks, titles are straight up weird (either choose one of their templates or create your own SVG??), felt laggy (1/2)

The title templates wouldn't be even that bad, but the issue is with customization, where you can't add a new line with a simple click, only because the template allows for a max of 3 lines or even just one, and some settings are hidden behind unintuitive additional popup

I just miss Davinci so much lol, it was so easy and nice to make videos in it. I know I've complained about it randomly freezing often on Linux mint before, but now I think I would prefer that over kdenlive and openshot

UX is rather weird... Yeah no, I'll try editing an Arc Raiders video and see how it performs. I just wish Davinci worked fine under Linux on amd cards, but it doesn't. If it ends up horrible experience, I'll either stick with kdenlive or edit the videos on my windows setup ugh (2/2)

I've bought Arc Raiders recently, it's pretty fun. As someone who plays all kinds of games, from CS to Insurgency, to Minecraft to Need For Speed, to Cyberpunk to PEAK, Arc has really been fun, especially the community in solos (havent tried out duos or trios yet, bc i've no one to play it with)

I'm also going to say, that the game's running really good on Linux via proton on a Radeon RX 6800 and an i5-9400f qith Epic preset and Dynamic - High raytracing (cant say the same about the finals though)

It's snoooowing so much here in Poland right now, it's genuinely sooo cool. It was late at night so the sidewalks were still covered in snow and it was really fun to walk on them I hope that we will have way more snow than last year

Just finished playing cyberpunk 2077, did 2 different endings. Amazing game but I do hope that it won't become a reality. Let's keep it as a warning to the world and not a prophecy

So yesterday I've followed a tutorial on making provinces in Godot from a PNG map. The issue is that it's Godot, which I personally don't like but respect that it's open source and free, and also a good piece of software, and I would like to move that onto Unity. (1/2)

Although it is possible to move that concept onto Unity, but the guy in tutorial didn't really explain the code and what it's doing. I know it's making a 2D polygon based off the colors in the file and makes them separate objects, but it's not enough for me to move that onto Unity by myself (2/2)

Right now I only did custom 3D shapes which are separate objects (could even be 2D) and then cast a ray from mouse position and if it collides with object which has tag "province" it displays information about it. But it would be really inefficient to making new custom maps

I like the wplace.live event, I've been wroking on making countryballs on the map in Poland, and I think it's turning out nicely. I plan on adding more European countries + USA, maybe later I'll move onto Asian or African ones #countryballs #polandball

I also did a powerpoint presentation for my history class about world war one, of course I included countryballs in it. If I find it I'll take screenshots and post them (or maybe export it as a video if its a possiblity on pp, im not sure anymore)
