I've written 14,000 words since Sunday, when @shilohskye.com made a post referencing one of my characters (Knoskali). It's funny how much reader feedback provides writing motivation for me. I think it's because I grew up a performer, and the audience is a critical part of performance. #writing

I almost accidentally vored a fly. It was in my coffee and I took a sip, then I was like "what's this soft thing rolling around in my mouth? It's like a tea leaf." I pulled it out, got some paper towels to dry it off, and it flew away after a while.

Oh, I WILL be at Pawcon this year! This is going to be the first con I've gotten to properly attend in about a decade, thanks to my stupid job. I'm even going to have books available there, if anyone wants to buy a copy! I'll be signing anyone's book who wants it, too. Excite!!

This is funny, it really is. However. I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.

There's a character called Knoskali in Theta by @sashafox.bsky.social. He's a capitalist/feudalist/authoritarian nightmare who appears for like two scenes and then proceeds to haunt the rest of the narrative. I've rarely seen a villain be so effective with so little page presence.

I just want to say how amazing it is to actually see ... me ... looking back. I've never been able to really achieve it properly before. I'm not a great artist, or even a good 2D artist (though I do LOVE painting with light), so I'm sure I'll look back in a week and hate this, but...for now happy!

Corporate charter pilot here! My job and hobbies are two different things. I relish the creativity, story writing and artwork of anthro characters. It hurts no one and supports other artists and creatives. Making furry art helped fund my flight training. I’m also not in the Epstein files ❤️

So I am a transgender furry airline pilot. As far as I know, I am the ONLY transgender furry airline pilot. Somehow, this all feels personal. So let me assure you that I take my job extremely seriously, and I'm very good at it.

Pro tip for furries on a budget who love to read: If you can't afford a furry book you really want to read, you could just ASK the author. A lot of furry writers will happily send you an ebook, and even if they don't, as long as you ask respectfully, you won't cause offense — because they get it.

Meta has shattered the social paradigm so hard that people aren't even willing to read an actual post from an actual person. They need an image. They need a snappy zinger one liner. They need ragebait.

Even if it's a picture of gen AI slop text.

Even if it's just A PICTURE OF TEXT.

Maybe people have been so broken and melted by Instagram that nobody will even spend time looking at a post that's not a picture.

Maybe it's just Bluesky. Maybe Bluesky is a failed platform. It doesn't help that the head developer is balls-deep on AI.
