I finished listening to Game of Life by @robmacwolf.thevoice.dog and @khaki.dog and I'm immediately reading it again in print because it feels like a story where you'll notice a lot more on a second read. There are so many highlights worth annotating, too. What a book. #FurryWriting #Booksky

Making the shift in criticism from "this thing is bad" to "This thing isn't for me and that's fine" is a FREEING one. It borders on transformative. So much superficially created spite and vitriol that weighs down the mind and clogs the internet, when it was never needed or asked for.

I think I've got a different take here. I disagree that the purpose of art is to make you feel something. It will, ideally, make you feel something, but that because feeling is the natural human reaction to art's actual purpose: to mean something.
