The first time i ever went to a tropical island Rob Ford got elected mayor of Toronto. I am currently in Bermuda and if Brad Bradford gets elected I might just not come back.

I feel weird about how much I like Angel Reese because I am 20+ years older than her. To be fair, I think about this a lot when watching Scottie Barnes and Ja Morant too.

Walking to the hotel.i surprisingly am staying at tonight and came upon a pub called Robin Hood. Robin Hood is my Jesus (some days). I am now late to check in and several pints in.

I haven't spent much time at all in Pennsylvania, but if TASK and Mare of Easttown are accurate, the Bermudian accent I have encountered sounds surprisingly similar.

Totally shocked that the guy from the biggest metal band ever who shoots Kodiak bears for fun and is okay with anyone having seen that documentary said soem extremely stupid and thin stuff on stage.

Tuesday will be a sad day for Ontario. Ford's government is taking us backwards, spending millions taking away bike lanes in Toronto when people across Ontario desperately need money for hospitals, housing, schools and infrastructure.

Toronto Star@thestar.com

The Ford government is set to remove Etobicoke bike lanes next week. The government confirmed to the Star that work will begin Oct. 13 to remove bike lanes on a stretch of Bloor Street that has been at the heart of the city’s bike lane battle.

In any other timeliness, Mark Carney is The Villain. But because, comparatively, he is opposing just enough bullshit, he us getting away with so much more.

I live in an Idaho-adjacent state and am now following this story with interest. It would be very funny if Bsky could help get a non-Republican elected to the Senate from Idaho.

ok, i kind of think Todd Achilles is the real deal candidate-wise. i gave him some money. i'm going to sit down and do some math and try to figure out if this is legitimately a no-hoper or if this is a longshot-big-payoff bet, but if there's a chance we may do some cooking for him on Bsky

I am 7 episodes into s2 of Tales from The Crypt and infidelity is the crux of most of these stories. I am guessing that William Gaines was going through it when he wrote a bunch if these.

Season 2 episode 1 of Tales from the Crypt has Demi Moore working as a server at a strip club and everyone is ordering Stingers and Rob Roys and now I am doubting that the Cocktail Renaissance was as big a deal as I've been led to believe.

I have been hired to open a bar in a foreign country. They reached out to me and seem to love me so far. But today the nerves kicked in. I guess this is what the kids mean when they talk about Imposter Syndrome.
