DRINK WATER FROM THE SKULLS OF YOUR ENEMIES! IF YOU HAVE CRUSHED THEIR SKULLS, USE A GLASS.

yes, this is the part that has left the most lasting damage: friends, family, and police all trying to convince me that I deserved what happened to me it's revictimization over and over, everybody taking turns, "how did YOU cause this?" we call it rape "culture" because everyone participates

Kat Tenbarge@kattenbarge.bsky.social

THIS is an instrumental part of rape culture. This is the wider societal enabling of rape and smearing victims. This is what survivors often identify as the most traumatic part of the experience, and as a journalist who believes survivors I can say it’s one of the worst parts for me, too

idk who was tge first person to make the observation that neurodivergent people were gonna be next after trans people but they were right way faster than anyone thought

yes I dislike the president on moral, ethical, and political grounds but also I dislike him for coming to my town on a game day, when the traffic is already monstrous enough without a little extra monster I wish all the bones were still under Neyland so our Appalachian ancestors could curse him

and one of the most infuriating things is that HHS is now in charge of IDEAβ€” and HHS is helmed by a man who detests disabled folks, especially autistics how can parents make sure their children's legal rights are enforced if they can't count on the federal government to back them up?

And when you read this, please understand: no one who pushed for voucher systems was unaware of the fact that they would be abandoning disabled kids as funds drained from public schooling. They simply did not care.
