1. On March 11, Trump toured a Thermo Fisher Scientific facility in Ohio and repeatedly praised the company. On *the same day* Trump bought between $15,000 and $50,000 of Thermo Fisher stock. The purchase was "UNSOLICITED," meaning it was requested by the customer, not recommended by an advisor.

Watching Trump teeter on the edge of blowing up the world economy because of a combination of hubris, strategic incoherence, mendacity and outright stupidity, might be the most extraordinarily depressing thing I have observed in my entire life, or read about in any other period.

1/ It's not just that unilaterally paying TSA agents is illegal. It's that Trump has now repeatedly undermined the core of the congressional power of the purse. He's not spending money that has been appropriated by law (impoundments) and he's spending money that has not been appropriated.

No matter how long I live after we get through this dark chapter, I will never get over the immorality, the amorality, the corruption, the criminality and the cruelty in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.

New: The FBI has lost 300 experienced national security agents over the last year, including 45 fired. Now the threat environment is as perlilous as it’s been in a long time. The DOJ has also lost experienced natsec lawyers. www.ms.now/news/doj-los...

I’m genuinely impressed by the lasting peace that Jared Kushner achieved in the Middle East during Trump’s first term. I thought he was just using his position and access to classified government information to make money. (Sarcasm font)
