Chaos - their goal to overwhelm, generating a freeze response in our collective autonomic nervous systems (ANS). There, we cannot access critical thinking. Fascism depends on this: do not give them powers they do not have in advance. Find a way to calm your ANS: breathe. This enables cognition.

Over my 60 years in and around politics, I’ve heard a lot of people tell me they “don’t do politics.” Here’s my response.
