On May 1st, we are removing our money from the oppressive system. That includes any and all shopping. We are encouraging many small and local businesses to shut down for May Day, and while we won't be shopping on May 1st, take note of which ones do shut down, so we can support them afterwards.

Even better than being in suburban Arizona, the human banner at the very beginning of this video was organized by a high school student!

Thank you for making No Kings 3 the biggest day of mass protest that America has ever seen. #NoKings

We’ve been running into people who had no idea what’s happening this Saturday which, honestly, caught us off guard. So please tell everyone you know. ✊

High visibility. High impact! Between 1 and 3pm we covered every bridge from Mesa Dr to 32nd St. Together they formed one long message: These are signs of fascism, and we need to act! Go to AZBridge.org to take action with our partners! #bridgebrigade #visibilitybrigade

Thousands marched through Phoenix, shutting down the streets. We want justice, now, and if we aren't getting it, we shut it down! #iceout #iceoutofeverywhere #chingalamigra

We mobilized the community. We marched. Now, we shut it down! We are building the muscle of the movement and working towards even bigger efforts in the future. We need ICE out of our communities. Avelo was just the start. Photos courtesy of Rachel Elizabeth photography.
