Today is June 1 which means it's officially the beginning of Walk and Bike Month! Enjoy walking, biking and riding transit for your daily commutes. Check out walkandbikemonth.org for details on all events this month. #wbmboulder #walkandbikemonth #BoulderColorado #ColoradoEvents #BicycleLife

Everything is covered outside. There's a white coating on the ground, the branches, even atop the fence line. What is this stuff? This may be the latest first snow I've ever seen

Visiting our national parks and monuments while they are still preserved. Dinosaur national monument in Colorado and Utah is incredible. A very engaging park ranger let us touch a dinosaur fossil. The view here looks out to the Green River. The true headwaters of the Colorado River

West Coast numbers are coming in, and estimates have now surpassed 5 million. People are still pouring into the streets—nearly 2% of the American population is rising up. America, we are so proud of you. You did it.

The 100 lowest-paying major US corporations spent $522B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2023.   Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay. The typical worker at these companies earned just $34k.  Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $14.7M. See the problem?

Morning at the bus stop, winter snow version. Thanks to the folks who clear the sidewalks. Last week was a sloppy, snowy walk. Today was mostly clear except the curb cuts ice over. #bouldercommutes #rtd #onelesscar

Finished this jigsaw puzzle today, another fun cold weather activity. Of course the bus was the first part we completed! Thanks Angel Bond and Mobility for All for the fun scene. It reminded me of a year I did spend Christmas in London, as the puzzle is named.

yesterday's keep warm strategy - lasagna. we did get out for a walk when it hit 20 degrees Fahrenheit, then I made sauce and this lovely spinach lasagna.

You are up to date.
