"A prayer, offered in avarice," the cyst-mother murmurs in a voice that is not her own. Her sutured lips are stained by pollen and thin honey; her words emerge from the wasps dancing through her gall-laden hair. "What a delicious thing. I think I will keep you."

"... and in her dalliances she found that the shadow of her spurned love hung over each of her new paramours. She caught herself judging them by Her measure, trying and failing to force them into Her shapeβ€”for of course none of them could ever compare. It was cruel of her to let them try ..."

I really like my 60mm macro lens (120mm equiv.) for shots like this. It's wonderfully limiting, and there's something almost surgical about how it forces me to cut everything I'm seeing down to just the part that interests me.

"... a decade later, everything seemed normal. People lived much the same as they did before: they worked, they played, they loved. Perhaps the balance had shifted. Our studies said the world had been made kinder, but the normalcy of it all was how we knew that we had failed ..."

"... you cannot defeat empire through imitation. A structure organized along the same lines, built to the same underlying logic, reifies that which it means to deny. A plague of flags and symbols must be fought with flames ..."

women who will take any excuse not to go to the function really love talking about how much they want to go to the function.

I'm the background character who gets murdered midway through the first act, but later on there's a flashback where you find out what I did to deserve it so that you don't feel bad about still being a bit turned on (it was added in response to test audience feedback & doesn't really fit).

Sometimes estrogen really does turn that sad-eyed boy who can't imagine a future with him in it into a beautiful girl who loves the world, but there's nothing stopping her from slowly decaying into a sad-eyed woman who can't imagine a future that she wants to stick around for.

Autumn is filled with magical sights - trees glowing with colorful leaves, soft rain on cozy cafe windows, and Mothman swooping down upon you in the alley behind the kebab shoppe.

The reason you use she/her for the it/its girl is to communicate that its position in the gender hierarchy is that of a feminized object, as a prelude to demonstrating how such objects are used: forcefully, with no regard for their well-being.

Puppygirl spa closes after general manager is convicted of embezzlement, flees the country. Investigation continues into allegations that the spa's beauticians groomed their clients. More after this,

Sometimes when I'm talking to people about kinks & the logistics of putting them into practice I have to take a step back and think, hmm. Okay. Exactly how non-normative is my view of this? Is my reaction here unusual, socially speaking?

I don't feel like any of my interests are that extreme (in large part because I'm surrounded by people who are into the same stuff, or go even further than I do), but ... yeah ...

There is something deeply perverse about a transparent aeropress. Coffee enthusiasts are all perverts, of course, but every time I look at mine I become more convinced that its ancestry owes more to translucent onaholes than it does to the original grey aeropress which purports to be its progenitor.

So I saw the new Nathan Fielder thing; it rocked. No matter how delusional and manipulative your characters are, the real world has them beat. What a fucking movie. I should watch it again.

It is natural for a woman who is not (or does not consider herself) particularly charismatic, attractive, or likeable to search for other ways to demonstrate that she should be valued, whether through the cultivation of skills, the acquisition of wealth, or the indulgence of baser desires.

I'm becoming slightly concerned about the amount of photographic paraphernalia cluttering up the corner of my bedroom, but, like, I have a lot of really hot friends and they deserve to have the best photographs slash sex tapes possible, so,,,
