Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Lifting everyone out of poverty with UBI + UBS is the morally right thing to do, but it's also economic good sense. It is very costly to let poverty exist. The wealthy are willing to let us all pay those costs and use poverty as a stick.

Noone is allowed to touch your ballot but you, you are supposed to be instructed to feed it into the voting machine by yourself, to be counted. The voting machine will let you know when it has registered your vote.

It’s bad enough that Gavin Newsom opposes California’s Prop 40. But he also supports Prop 42, a billionaire-backed poison pill that would cancel out Prop 40 entirely and make it impossible to enact future wealth taxes. It’s clear whose side he’s on. Remember this in 2028.
