Alberta separatists fail to realize that the provincial wealth is in the hands of the subsidized corporations. There would be fewer rights and more corporate power wielded over the government. Danielle Smith's pressures towards her version of separatism will not give you more freedom or wealth.

Once again, this is a *provincial* issue. The problem is the underfunding of provincial social safety nets. The federal government can't do much about that (especially when certain provinces claw back enriched federal benefits).
