I have a friend that always needs help and asks but doesn't listen to any advice given which is fine, like it's not my life. But when she asks people that then ask ChatGPT in front of her and they tell her what I've been telling her for years she believes them right away. It's so frustrating 😭😭😭

this person was pretty adamant about boycotting fortnite when they added genai which I really fucked with but a year later she's constantly telling me that I should be taking specific shortcuts that utilize genai to make my life easier when I'm actively watching it make hers harder. it is so sad.

like, sometimes I'll have to be like "hey this thing your sending me is clearly AI art or voiced by an AI bot" and she'll be like "whatever, it's fine" and then get really pretentious about what is and isn't *good* *art* (???) it is really sad watching your friends turn into their parents

I wouldn't be as frustrated if this didn't happen like- every day, immediately after the car thing "damn, medication is running out with nowhere to go" "you should really try calling this clinic" *silence* "hey did you hear me" "ya I just don't think it will work" oh my god let me be your friend.

just discovered something terrible about my friend that doesn't take music recs. he goes to one of the 4 artists he knows on spotify and just clicks their most popular song and let's it auto play. 😭
